Yaakov Spivack was sitting inside his family’s sukkah, when he heard the booming, cracking sound of breaking wood. “I thought a neighbor’s sukkah fell,” the boy said. He peeked out of the shelter and found the crash was far from what he imagined. Some 40 feet away, a mini-school bus, empty except for the driver, had rolled through a fence, down a 15-foot embankment and landed nose first in the Spivack family’s backyard near Meade Avenue.
The bus’s fall was broken only by a large tree in the yard, which, in turn, toppled over and crushed his favorite swing set.
No one was injured in the 8 a.m. wreck.
Police say the school bus’s 69-year-old driver, Juan Lopez, was parking the bus in the driveway of his Boulevard residence when he accidentally pressed the wrong foot pedal.

B”H that no one was hurt.
But anyone who calls it a miracle because of the Yad HaShem that ensured that no one was hurt, should also note that it was the Yad HaShem that pushed the bus down the embankment.
