A search for the father of 50-year-old David Reichenberg Z”L, who was electrocuted while trying to save a child, has ended in the positive.
Harry Reichenberg, had left his home in Seattle Washington to attend the Levaya of his son in Monsey, after hearing of his tragic death during Hurricane Irene. He flew to Chicago, where all flights were stopping, and rented a car to drive the rest of the journey to Monsey.
On Monday afternoon, he had still not arrived, and the family contacted Misaskim for assistance. Together with Chaveirim of Monsey, they met with detectives for a few hours, and began organizing a multiple-state search.
Just a short while ago – while search efforts were beginning to get underway – he arrived at the home, after having driven for 24 hours straight.
He had hit the East Coast, and had encountered lots of flooded highways, and had no means of communication.
Misaskim and Chaverim of Monsey thank those who had already started searching.
