WCBSTV is reporting, that the NYPD is seeking the public’s help finding three suspects wanted in connection with six different burglaries since the end of July. According to police the group pose as water inspectors and then steal cash and jewelry from their unsuspecting victims.
The first incident took place in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn when a group of two men and a woman entered a home posing as workers. This was the only time the female suspect was involved.
Next, the two male suspects robbed a home in Borough Park. In many of the cases the victims were elderly. On August 2, the two men struck again, this time in Marine Park at the home of a 64-year-old woman.
On August 9th they took cash and jewelry from two homes in both Sunset Park and Bensonhurst.
In most of the cases, they took the valuables and left. But on August 10th, they turned violent and threw an 85-year-old Staten Island man into the wall after he refused to leave the front door open of his Bradley Avenue home open during their “inspection.”

sammygol,
why ruin a nice clean mikveh?
If they are from DEP, then they must have badges. Either way, just refuse because no New York City inspector is allowed to make an inspection unless they make an appointment first with the owner!
