ZAKA, Magen David Adom, Israel Police and Israeli Foreign Ministry representatives, have arrived in Phuket overnight to start their heart-breaking assignment of identifying the dead Israelis from yesterdays devastating airplane crash. The missing Israelis are listed as: Adi Naim, 25, from Kfar Yona; Rotem Naori, 24, from Netanya; Zachi (Itzik) Biton, 26, from Kfar Yona; Hofit Eliya, from Kfar Yona; Lily Alon, 23, from Jerusalem; Rachel Tofan, 23, from Jerusalem; Hila Gershoni, 23, from Holon; and Tal Feldman, from Rishon Lezion.
In addition, two Israelis, Vladimir and Isabella Freylikhman, B”H survived the crash and are being treated for a number of injuries.
The crash left a total of 88 people killed and 44 people injuried – as it attempted to land in a heavy rain storm. The “black-box” has already been retrieved, and authoroties are working on determining the cause of the crash.

1. Nice photo, but I don’t think the gentleman pictured is related to any of the victims, except via Kol Yisrael Areivim Ze Lazeh.
The gentleman is R Nechemia Wilhelm, a Chabad shliach in Bangkok, who flew to Phuket to help deal with the Jewish bodies.
