Baltimore: Burglar Assaults Homeowner And Makes Off With Stolen Goods


A homeowner was assaulted by a burglar inside his own home on Monday afternoon.

Sources tell YWN that at approximately 2:20PM an adult male suspect entered a residence on the 3500 block of Seven Mile Lane. The resident was home at the time and was assaulted by the suspect.

The suspect stole various items including a TV screen and other items.

Baltimore Police, Shomrim and Hatzalah were called by a witness who described that the suspect left the scene of the crime as a passenger of a dark blue vehicle. The witness was also able to relay the license plate number and make and model of the vehicle.

Baltimore Police along with Shomrim units were dispatched to the area. A Shomrim unit was able to identify the vehicle at or near West Belvedere and Park Heights Avenue. Shomrim was able to relay the information to Baltimore City Police who were at the scene of the crime with other Shomrim units. BPD responded to the location where the suspect vehicle was observed and took the female driver into custody.

As of this posting, police have not been able to locate the male suspect.

  1. This homeowner left their front door unlocked. Genius. Also who would open the door to strangers? I didn’t say Baltimore was crime free. I said the ma’alos greatly outweigh the problems. I’m waiting here at home with my Glick, personally.
