New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) did not want to be Mitt Romney’s running mate because he thinks the presumptive GOP nominee’s chances of winning the election are “unlikely,” the New York Post reported Monday.
Citing an anonymous source, the Post reports Christie refused to leave his position as governor in order to run as Romney’s vice president. He could not see a way to avoid resigning his post due to Securities and Exchange Commission rules that would otherwise limit Romney campaign fundraising, according to the report.

If the story is true, Gov Krispy Kreme is a fool because its Gov Romney’s election to lose unless Obama’s goons steal the election for their leader.
Personally I am quite happy that he’s not the running mate because his being on the ticket does nothing compared to Paul Ryan.
I agree with Christie’s assessment. Romney is too wishy-washy on his political positions. He doesn’t inspire enthusiasm. A lot of people will just stay home on election day.
You put a distorted heading to this article!
The Hill clearly says that Christie denied this report totally!!!
