Mitt Romney gave his most expansive answer yet over questions about his tax returns, telling reporters Thursday he has “never paid less than 13 percent” in taxes over the last 10 years — contrary to what Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid has claimed.
“I did go back and look at my taxes,” Romney said during a news conference at a South Carolina airport. “And over the past 10 years, I never paid less than 13 percent. I think the most recent year is 13.6 (percent) or something like that.”
The response follows months of calls for him to release his returns, including from some top Republicans. However, he has declined to make them public, saying it could give his opponents “more ammunition” against him.
Romney had some choice words Thursday for Reid, calling the accusation by him that Romney didn’t pay taxes for a decade “totally false.”
“I’m sure waiting for Harry to put up who it was that told him what he says they told him,” Romney challenged. “I don’t believe it for a minute, by the way.”
Reid has not released any proof of his claim beyond saying he heard it from an anonymous source. Romney also scolded the press for their “fascination” with the issue, “given the challenges that America faces” — high unemployment, millions in poverty and a potentially nuclear Iran.

So what is Romney hiding?
We already know that he’s invested millions in foreign tax havens, offshore shell corporations, and a Swiss bank accounts.
He invested in R-rated movies. He invested in an aborted fetus disposal company. His charity deductions enable the LDS church (which he is a Bishop) to baptize Jews … dead Jews including Holocaust victims, without their, or families, consent!
We know that.
So what is he really hiding?
Harry Reid has a “little friend” that tells him things. The man is clearly a mishugena!
Romney doesn’t have to release any more info than he already has. He should tell OblameO, Reid etc to drop dead!
I would like to see Obama’s college transcripts as well as his thesis. I want to know HOW he attended college & who paid for it & how. There are lots of things Obama has been very secretive about & the yuld is already president!

Romney really should not have to answer to the likes of Harry (the worm) Reid. His taxes are far from the real issue, which is the poor governance of Obama and gang. I wish Romney would say as much, instead of feeling he has to answer these jokers.
I am sure that none of the readers of this blog would volunteer to pay more taxes than they are legally required. If Mr. Romney chooses to obey the law and pay what he owes and no more Kol hacavod. The problem arises when a person pays less than what they are required. I don’t believe that this applies to Mr. Romney.
I also feel that we should never attack a candidates personal religion unless it is an avowed anti jewish or other religion such as the “peaceful” religion of islam.
I’m glad to see that Mark Levin agrees with me regarding the transcripts and aid for foreign students applications which obama purportedly accepted.
Romney is bad for America & as I am an American I will not vote for him As for Obama who sent the men that KILLED OBL? as for taxes I want to see them all & anyone that doesn’t want to see them before they vote for him is a fool, when he says that the Dems could use them against him that does not reassure me! He just admitted that there is something there!
