Marianne Gingrich has said she could end her ex-husband’s career with a single interview. Earlier this week, she sat before ABCNEWS cameras, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
She spoke to ABCNEWS reporter Brian Ross for two hours. Her explosive revelations are set to rock the campaign. But now a “civil war” has erupted inside of the network, an insider claims, on exactly when the confession will air!
ABCNEWS suits determined it would be “unethical” to run the Marianne Gingrich interview so close to the South Carolina Primary, a curious decision, one insider argued, since the network has aggressively been reporting on other candidates.
A decision was tentatively made to air the interview next Monday, after all votes have been counted.
Gingrich canceled a press conference on Wednesday to deal with the matter.
“He believes that what he says in public and how he lives don’t have to be connected,” Marianne Gingrich, Newt’s wife of 18 years, explained to ESQUIRE last year. “When you try and change your history too much, and try and recolor it because you don’t like the way it was or you want it to be different to prove something new … you lose touch with who you really are.”

Unethical is what ABC did in the first place by getting involved. To interview her and hold it over our heads is really really terrible on their part!
Isn’t she one of the ones that Newt cheated on, years ago.
Given the time lag it probably isn’t that big a deal. He has long since confessed to being a serial adulter (who has since repented?).
Wouldn’t it have been great if the looser libs at ABC were as concerned with Barack Hussein Obama mmmmm mmmmm mmmm four years ago and they would have actually REPORTED about Obama’s ties to the church of hate as well as the terrorists Bill Ayres & Bernardine Dohrn?? What about the house from Rezko? Obama is a crooked political hack from Chicago who wasn’t vetted & was elected by a bunch of uninformed imbeciles.
Yeah, you tell ’em Mark…it is only ethical when the media wades in on personal issues of those liberal democrat socialist commies, like Clinton and Obama.

Oh yea, what a terrible thing for ABC to do, going after facts and coverage of people seeking the presidency. For shame!

I think its a little bit late for ABC to do it…should have gotten it together DAYS before the primary, not a day.
Nonetheless, I am a Republican, and I think this very fair ground. Newt goes all day how you can’t trust Romney as principled but its obvious Newt couldn’t be trusted within his own family.
I mean Romney was Governor of the most liberal state, so being less than ideal as a conservative is at least understandable.
Speaker Gingrich was leading the Republicans against then President Clinton at the time for his infidelity. How ridiculous is that? If one can’t even not cheat, when at such a time…then how is that person, in general, at all trustworthy and worthy of being the President?
