A 4-year-old child was just airlifted from Loch Sheldrake after being pulled out of a swimming pool. The near-drowning incident happened around 4:00PM Tuesday afternoon at Vacation Village. Catskills Hatzolah Paramedics were on the scene and requested that a chopper respond to fly the child to a trauma center. The Loch Sheldrake Fire Department set up a landing zone at the nearby school.

The condition of the child is unknown at this time.
