On June 28, 2014 at approximately 5:42 PM, Deputies responded to an accident involvign an overtuend vehicle.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver Abraham Lawlor, 34 y/o of Krum Road, Stone Ridge, NY, had been operating his pickup truck at a high rate of speed losing control of the vehicle striking a guard rail causing the vehicle to rollover on its side. The passenger of the vehicle Jennifer Manuel, 33 y/o of Mettacahonts Road, Accord, NY was treated at the scene for minor injuries and transported to Kingston Hospital by Marbletown Rescue.

Mr. Lawlor was issued tickets at the scene for speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right, moved from lane unsafely and reckless driving to return to the Town of Marbletown Court on a later date.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Marbletown Rescue Squad, Mobile Life Support Services and the Kripplebush Fire Department.
