The first Mincha Minyan of week two of Summer 2013 has just started at the Sloatsburg Mincha Area.
Askonim worked tirelessly together with the NY State Police and the Thruway Authority to ensure that the area would be available for those seeking tefilla b’tzibbur on their way Upstate.
Rabbi Abe Friedman, a Police Chaplain who oversees the operation alongside his brother Rabbi Yoel Friedman, tells YWN Catskills that Minyanim at the Mincha/Maariv area will go on until 10:30 PM on Thursdays.
