Yahoo News, which has more unique visitors than any other news Web site, is forming a partnership with ABC News to share stories and feature Web video series.
The alliance, announced on Monday on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” was described by ABC News as a “game changer” for the network news division. ABC News has languished low on the list of major news brands in terms of Web traffic, but the deal with Yahoo may help change that.
While not a merger, the traffic for Yahoo News and ABC News will be reported together, the same way that the traffic for AOL and The Huffington Post has been reported together since those two sites merged in March 2011.
Each Web site will have editorial independence, but the news organizations will share content, co-produce coverage of some news events and have “integrated bureaus” in New York, Washington and Los Angeles, according to a news release.
As with AOL’s acquisition of The Huffington Post earlier this year, the alliance is an example of two media companies joining forces to each become stronger on the Web, where audiences are fractured and other content is only a click away.

I give it 6 months before Google buys NBC then Microsoft buys CBS.
Now I can’t trust YAHOO news since it will have the liberal slant. If Google buys NBC I will close my google account
