R’ Kloinimus (Charles) Richter (Age 99) of Brooklyn was Nifter on Thursday afternoon. R’ Kloinimus, originally from Vienna was very active in Hatzolah activities, along with his Shver R’ Yaakov Shloima (Julius) Steinfeld during WW2. He later was from the founders of the Vienner Kehilla in Williamsburg. The levaya will take place outside his home in Williamsburg – 201 Hooper St. at 9:30AM Friday morning. The K’vurah will be in the Viener Chelkah in Woodbridge, NJ. The Richter, Rosenberg, Acker, Hirsch, Zucker and Lonner Mishpochas will be sitting Shiva in Williamsburg.

Boruch Dayan HaEmes! I once visited R’ Kloinimus’ superb Antique Siddur collection and recall him reminiscing about his assisting the Chofetz Chaim at the 1st Knessia Gedolah. We unfortunately lost one more connection to the “freidika dor”.
