A 19-year-old Breslov Yeshiva Bochur, spending Sukkos in Uman was R”L murdered on the main street in the city on Motzei Shabbos.
Sources tell YWN that the vehicle he was driving in was attacked by a Ukrainian group throwing rocks. Before he had a chance to react, he was dragged from the vehicle and stabbed multiple times.
Tragically, Shmuel Tubul HY”D was pronounced dead at the local hospital. ZAKA is working to ensure that no autopsy is done, and the Niftar is treated with the proper Kavod.
There are approximately 250 people spending Sukkos in Uman.
UPDATE: Highly credible sources tell YWN that police have arrested two suspects, and are looking for a third. Additionaly, YWN has learned that SHmuel Tubul was a Chosson and was scheduled to be married shortly.

when was the last time a yid was killed in uman? There have been a lot more people killed because they are yidden in NY than Uman. Instead of pathetic comments, say a kappitel Tehilim and daven that all yidden should be safe wherever they are.

i just want to tell you that i personaly know this young bochur and he was an amazing baal chesed, he did not hang out in uman he actuall lived there him and his family live there its been years, they welcomed everyone to uman! and about uman its as safe as erets yisroel Rebbe Nachman said it himself.
