The United Hatzalah family joins the family of Yosef Koeningsberg in mourning his untimely passing. Yosef, aged 40, died yesterday when he suddenly collapsed in the street after suffering a heart attack. His colleagues, medics from United Hatzalah, arrived at the scene and began resuscitation attempts. After the ambulance arrived, ambulance paramedics were forced to declare his death en route to the hospital.
Yosef worked tirelessly to support his young family. He left behind him a wife and four children the oldest of which was 16 and the youngest was 2 years old. He was an active, vibrant and beloved volunteer of United Hatzalah in Elad.
Yosef was a dear friend who gave of himself continually to save others and was a true man of valor and great works. Yosef was a God fearing man who counted himself among the Chassidim of Kretchnif,
May God help his family, his loved ones and friends find consolation and peace.
