The Lakewood community has once again been struck with a tragedy, with the sudden Petira of 6-month-old Baila Bracha Sorotzkin A”H
According to TLS, the mother was reportedly sitting near her child at around 3:00PM when she noticed the child gagging, and immediately becoming unresponsive.
Lakewood Hatzolah was on the scene in under two minutes, and rushed the child to Kimball Medical Center in cardiac arrest.
She was Niftar a short while after arriving at the hospital.
Baila Bracha is the daughter of R’ Chaim Dov and Mrs. Sora Aliza.
Askonim are working with local officials to ensure proper Kavod is given to the Niftar during the investigation, and the Levaya will be taking place in Lakewood this evening.
