Rebbitzin Mina Edelstein z”l, 75, the wife of Ramat HaSharon Chief Rabbi HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Edelstein Shlita, died during the night in Bnei Brak’s Maynei HaYeshua Hospital.
The rebbitzin married Rav Edelstein Shlita after the petira of his first wife, and during the past year she became ill and was hospitalized. She leaves behind 11 children.
The Rav Shlita and the rebbitzin z”l are known in Ramat HaSharon for their tremendous kiruv and outreach, as well as their love for every yid.
During the night, the family had to contemplate where the rebbitzin would be buried, in Haifa near her mother or in Ramat HaSharon. After consulting with Gedolei HaDor, it was decided the kvura would be in Ramat HaSharon.
The funeral began at noon from 12 Naomi Street to the Ramat HaSharon Cemetery.
