A young girl was R”L killed Wednesday afternoon when she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle in West Hempstead, Long Island. The 13-year-old girl was identified as Leor Perl A”H, a student from Yeshiva Har Torah in Long Island.

She was riding south on Park Avenue and attempting to cross Eagle Avenue when she was struck by a Cadillac that was traveling west on Eagle Avenue at 3:03 p.m., police said.

Paramedics rushed her to a local hospital where she was tragically pronounced dead.

The 24-year-old female driver of the Cadillac will not face any criminal charges in the crash, police said.

The Levaya is scheduled for Thursday at 1:00PM, at congregation Anshi Shalom on 472 Wempstead Ave.
