Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital officials reported on Monday afternoon 26 Shevat 5774 that the 40-year-old woman seriously injured in the Gilo gas explosion, Linda Schwartz, has succumbed to her serious injuries. She was niftar earlier in the day.

Ms. Schwartz was an only child to an elderly couple that was injured in the blast as well. Her parents, in their 80s, have been released from the hospital and they are in a senior citizens complex in Maale Adumim as their home was destroyed in the powerful explosion.

Also killed in the explosion were Avraham Tufan, his wife Galit and their son Yosef Chaim z”l.
