A 60-year-old New York City woman, who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Callicoon back in July, has died, State Police said Tuesday.

As was reported by YWN Catskills back on July 29, Judith Feldman was found unconscious in the road on Bridge Street in Callicoon. She had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the road and suffered a fractured skull, police said.

Troopers now said she died on December 12 as a result of complications from her injuries.

The case is still being actively investigated. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the State Police at Liberty at 845-292-6600. All calls will be kept confidential.
