My sympathy and condolences go out to the family of the victim. These types of accidents are commonplace in that neighborhood. There seems to be a general disregard for pedestrians and traffic laws alike with constant horn blowing, speeding, and not recognizing stop signs, not to mention walking in middle of the street in the evening with all black clothing on.
