Rav Yeshayahu Shiffman z”l was niftar just thirty minutes after attending his son’s vort on Tuesday, 7 Elul 5773. The rav, known as a talmid chacham in his community of Ramat Shlomo was a rosh kollel in the community. The rav, who 57, was a son-in-law of Rehovot Chief Rabbi Simcha HaKohen Kook.

The niftar is survived by his rebitzen Esther and nine children. The levaya is scheduled for Wednesday, 8 Elul at 15:00, beginning at the family home at 30 Chazon Ish Street in Ramat Shlomo. ת.נ.צ.ב.ה
