Tragedy struck a Bnei Brak family on Friday night R”L. A mother arrived at an emergency clinic on Jabotinsky Street holding her six-month-old child who was apathetic and presenting with a high fever. Officials noticed the infant stopped breathing and began resuscitation efforts as they called for emergency medical service responders.

After 40 minutes of resuscitation the decision was made to terminate resuscitation efforts and pronounce the child dead. It is reported that the couple waited seven years to be blessed with the child, their only child. The levaya took place on motzei Shabbos in the Segulah Beis Hachaim in Petach Tikvah.

Askanim from various organizations acted quickly to obtain the proper police permits to permit burial of the infant z”l without an autopsy.
