Rav Mordechai Nosson Miller Z”L was niftar on erev Pesach while in Italy at the age of 87. He was the founder and director of Miller Publishing.

Family members explain that even at his advanced age he remained actively involved in the operation of Miller Publishing. He was a survivor of the Holocaust, a known talmid chochom, and bal chessed.

He did not feel well on the flight and he was taken to a hospital where he was niftar. Zaka officials in Eretz Yisrael began working to have the body released and flown home on erev Yomtov. Their efforts were assisted by the Chabad Shaliach in Rome, Rav Menachem Lazar. The levaya will be held on Wednesday, first day chol hamoed in Eretz Yisrael.
