The Nadvorna Rebbe of Chadera ZT”L was niftar in a Manhattan hospital at the age of 96. The rebbe was the son of Rav Isamar Rosenbaum of Nadvorna ZT”L.
The rebbe, R’ Asher Yeshayahu Rosenbaum ZT”L was the elder of the Nadvorna dynasty.
The Rebbe lived for many years in the United States and in 1971 immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, where he opened a bais medrash in Chaderah. He later opened a bais medrash in Bnei Brak on Rechov Uziel.
In recent years, the Rebbe lived with his daughter in Canada.
The levaya took place today in Monsey at 9:00AM at the Salka Bais Medrash. The Levaya will then proceed to Eretz Yisroel, where a Levaya will take place at the Rebbe’s bais medrash in Bnei Brak, followed by kevurah on Har Hazeisim.

The Rebbe Stayed with his daughter (Salke Rebbetzin) and son-in-law הרב יעקב רוטטענבערג שליט”א Rav of the famous SALKE Kehilla סאלקא in Monsey NY. The Rebbe lived with them for many years when his late rebbetzin was sick and then another 4 years till his passing.
The respect and total devotion his son-in-law הרב יעקב שליט”א gave to him is indescribable and unheard of, for instance, giving him away all כיבודים for all those years. הרב יעקב שליט”א is a symbol of a real Chasidishe Ruv, one of the first Chasidishe Rabbunim in Monsey NY.
The Rebbe z”l will be greatly missed. Should he be a מליץ יושר for all Yidden and especially to his son-in-law and family, the נדבורנא קהילה באר”י and his most devoted סאלקא קהילה in Monsey NY
