On Sunday, 27 Teves 5772, Rabbanit Shoshana, 93, a sister of HaGaon HaRav Shimon Badani Shlita, was niftar. All of the nifteres’ children died during her lifetime.  The levaya was held in Hadera.

The nifteres’ brother, HaRav Badani, a member of the Shas Moetzas Gedolei HaTorah, is sitting shiva in his son-in-law’s home, Rav Krauni, on Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak above the Toras Chaim Beis Medrash.

During shiva the rav continues davening in the beis medrash. When asked why he is davening in the beis medrash during shiva he explained “because a mourner customarily davens in his home, and this kollel is my home”.
