R’Mordecha was a very special person. He was a perfectionist in whatever he did. His character was of a European style extremely proper and polite. His knowledge of just about any subject was really amazing. But above all was his humility he spoke to everyone child, teenager and adults with such respect that everyone really felt important. He left 3 fine sons especially his youngest R’ Dovid a yungerman that give a few shiurim daily (finished shas a few times)as well as being a famous Baal Koreah (never makes a mistake) He is also from the founding members of the West Side Hatzolah always makes himself available for emergency calls. Reb Dovid is from the prominent talmidim of Hagaon Harav Paler zt”l.
It is interesting to note that Reb Dovid follows in his fathers footsteps by greeting every person that walks into shul with a smile, and always having a table full of guests eating at his home. Being the lawyer of the caliber of Reb Dovid he is always available for consultations and he is always from the forefront guest attending the Agudah Convention yearly always adding his words of wisdom. I must conclude that here we can really say “The apple didn’t fall far from the tree”!!!!
