Many gedolim visited the Kosel on Erev Rosh Hashanah, including Maran Hagon Rav Elyashiv, Rav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg, Rav Shmuel Aurbach, and many other Gedolim.
The Gedolim davened together in a special Minyan on behalf of individuals who donated money to a certain Tzedakah.
As a side note, the 100th birthday of Rav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg was celebrated earlier this week.

I think it’s nice the prayers and giving tzedaka, we should look at things in a positive way these days
