Rav Shmuel Dishon, Shlita; the Menahel of Mosdos Yad Yisroel Karlin Stolin, gave a Shiur at Yeshiva Passaic Torah Institute (PTI) this past Yom Iyun on Monday, February 9.  Harav Shmuel Dishon, Shlita spoke on the topic of the connection of Adar and Simcha.  
 
Some of the salient points that he stressed at the shiur is the importance helping others who are less fortunate be b’simcha and to help them as best as possible as well as to increase our Ahavas Yisroel. He suggested that we increase the amount of Matanos L’evyonim and the Shalach Manos that we usually give out so we can  reach out to more Yiddin especially in these trying times.
