The chasenah of a granddaughter of the Belzer Rebbe Shlita is scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening 12 Sivan 5774. The chupah will be held at Kikar Belz in Yerushalayim.
With the chupah set to get underway at 18:00, streets in the area of Shamgar and Belz will begin closing earlier in the afternoon. The men attending the chasenah will be on Shamgar and Ohelei Yehoshua Streets and the women on Petach Tikvah Street.
Following the chupah, guests will go to the giant tent that was set up in the courtyard of the main beis medrash. Chassidim wishing a reserved seat paid 1,000 NIS, Ladaat reports. The money is being used to assist offsetting the cost of the event. The tent for the women was set up in the courtyard of the talmid torah on Ohelei Yehoshua Street. The women will be watching the chasenah via live broadcast.
Streets that will be closed by police include Shamgar from Yirmiyahu to Ohelei Yehoshua, Petach Tikvah, Dover Shalom, and Divrei Chaim.
