Tonight, Monday, 10 Cheshvan 5774 there will be a simcha in the Gur Chassidic Court taking place in Yerushalayim. There will be a chasenah, a grandson of the rebbe shlita, Simcha Bunim Rund, a son of the rebbe’s son-in-law Rabbi Avrohom Shmuel Rund from Kiryas HaRim Levine in Tel Aviv.

Rav Rund is a grandson of Rabbi Yehoshua Heller, head of Khal Chassidei Bobov in Eretz Yisrael.

The kallah is a daughter of HaRav HaChossid Moshe Whitman of Ashdod. The kallah’s mother is the principal of the seminary in Ashdod as well as being a daughter of Rav Shraga Pearlberger z”l of London. The Lev Simcha ZT”L, the rebbe’s father, would stay with Rav Pearlberger during visits to London.

The chupah is scheduled to take place on Brandeis Street an hour before shekiya, which is 18:12 in Yerushalayim today. Many admorim and rabbonim of prominence are expected to be in attendance.

It is added that the rebbe shlita instructed the couples to ask a posek regarding the date, the night of the yahrzeit of Rochel Imeinu.
