Advanced Registration Required to See Gerrer Rebbe During Tishrei

gurGerrer communities throughout Eretz Yisrael have been advised of a new protocol for chassidim wishing to see the rebbe shlita. One must register in advance.

The new regulation will be in effect from Rosh Chodesh Elul until after Yom Kippur. Gabbaim of the rebbe acknowledge in previous years one did not require advanced registration to get into the rebbe but the rebbe health over the last year took a turn for the worse and the rebbe’s regular condition is weaker than a year ago. As such, realizing just how many people wish to meet with the rebbe and receive a bracha during Tishrei, the registration decision was made to limit and control the number of people.

  1. Lately visiting Rebes became an INDUSTRIE, the highes bidder will get a better place and date. Completly ridicules when I was younger one could go the Rebe any time and wait and if the Rebe did not feel good one went back home and came back next day.

  2. Registration? Every day something new and more bizarre. Nobody needs to register when opening a Tehillim and asking Hashem for a bracha.
