[Click HERE for additional photos] Two days ago in Kew Gardens Hills the inaugural ceremony celebrating the new home of Mesivta Yesodei Yeshurun was held. Talmidim from the Mesivta, as well as talmidim from its affiliated Yeshiva Gedola, Yeshivas Ohr Hachaim rejoiced with the Hanhala as the new Beis Hamedrash opened. Kevias Hamezuzah was performed by the Nasi Hayeshiva, Rabbi Bernard Lander and the Roshei Hayeshiva, Harah Doniel Lander and Harav MOrdechai Krauss.

Under the leadership of Harav Shmuel Gordon, Menahel and Rabbi Dr. Yaakov Tzvi Nierman, principal, Mesivta Yesodei Yeshurun has become a nationally prominent yeshiva. Currently, the Mesivta has over 100 talmidim and continues to grow, attracting students from across the continent. The new building boasts a 2 story Beis Medrash, numerous classrooms, dormitory facilities, a library, state-of-the-art equipped computer and science labs, and a full court gym. It is our hope that the new building will serve as an aid for the talmidim to succeed in their studies and to blossom into true Bnei Torah!
