This video was taken on Erev Yom Kippur 5771, when Maran Hagon Rav Chaim Kanievsky “Shlugs Kaparos”. At the time, he was surrounded by many family members and his close Talmidm. This year, the Gadol Hador Shlugged Kaparos on Thursday afternoon, also in the presence of his Mishpacha and Talmidim.

Rav Chaim’s kavannah is impressive. He is able to tune out all that noise in the room and be Davuk to Hashem. Very inspirational!

We should all shlug kapporos with a chicken as Rav Chaim does.
Why does the title say זאת? As a male, R’ Chaim certainly used a rooster and said זה חליפתי.
