It appears that the ongoing negotiations between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) have some concerned, including prominent leaders of communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron. The talks are taking place under a media blackout, which Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni explains is necessary to permit making progress without being scrutinized in the press daily.
YWN-ISRAEL reported that recently, former MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh) issued a call to the right wing to oust Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett before it is too late. Katz fears that the closed door talks will lead to catastrophe for by the time the results are announced, it will be too late chas v’sholom. Katz fears that yishuvim will be uprooted as the government of Ariel Sharon did in N. Shomron and Gush Katif in 2005.
Seeking to bring the matter to the media spotlight; settlement leaders on Sunday morning 4 Tishrei 5774 set up a protest tent opposite the Prime Minister’s Office.

Ketzalah was not always the sharpest knife in the drawer during his time as an MK and has not improved much with age. Any final peace agreement will have to be voted upon by the Knesset and its obvious to everyone including the most right wing fanatics that there will be some settlements that will end up on the Palestinian side of the negotiated boundary. If they want to minimize the number of Gush Katifs, than stop building new settlements on lands that are nearly certain to end up under Palestinian control.
If Bayit Yehudi constituents were smart, they would listen to Ketzaleh and get rid of Bennett immedidately. Except for being an ally with Israel’s biggest racist minister, hater of Torah, Yeshivas, orthodox Jews and cutting budget of children, has Bennett done anything positive? Or at least anything he promised before election? Bennett has a low self-esteem who’s afraid to anger the Rasha, his ally, and would therefore much rather give away all of Yehuda and Shomron. Get rid of Bennett before it’s too late!
The Talmud in the tractate of Eruvin (45,a) and the Shulchan Aruch (orach chaim 329,6) explain that giving away any part of the Land of Israel to the enemy, even a small concession, invites an even greater risk and danger to both Israel and the Jewish nation. It is, therefore, permitted to transgress the Sabbath and even to put Jewish lives at risk in order to fight enemies that come to steal straw and chaff from a border town in Eretz Yisrael. For if they were allowed to steal chaff and straw the country’s deterrent forces would be weakened, leaving the towns in a more vulnerable position and thus endangering many lives. It is clear that safeguarding all of the Israel is of a must and it is prohibited to relinquish any part of the Land
Say what you will about Bennett, but I would trust him not to destroy Yehuda and Shomron far more than I would trust Netanyahu.
NU NU when are the charedim getting involved since a huge amount of their voters are living on pre 67 Arab land ex: Ramat Shlomo, Nvei Yaakov, Ramat Eshkol, Betar, Kiryat Sefer, Ramat Shmuel, Givat Zev, Emanuel, Modiim illit and so many other areas.
