    WHO CARES!!!?!??

I was at METLIFE and saw PLENTY of hassidics. I felt the videos i saw of Barclays was mostly hassidics. To me that just tells me the type who would not mind sitting outside in the cold versus those who needed to be warm and cozy.

The OP seems to haven’t missed something major about the Democrat Party. Wherever the Torah says לא, the Democrat Party says yes. How can any Jew be a Democrat? They go COMPLETELY against Torah!

I can’t believe how many people there are on this blog that are okay with this garbage. Don’t you see you or your rights and your liberties are being taken away from you by the feel good socialist liberal Democrats? Something happens in the world and WE get blamed for it? they blame us for everything while they go out and do exactly what they’re telling us they don’t want us to do.

We really need to have normal people, those of us who really want to maintain our liberties and freedoms to take back New York City and New York State. I don’t want to hear how Connecticut has it and it’s okay over there. If you like it in Connecticut stay there and don’t do anything about it. Let them keep taking stuff from you. You’re never going to get it back, do you understand that? When they take something from you, one of your liberties and your freedoms, you will never ever ever get it back. It doesn’t happen.

You can’t look at kiruv success by what you see. Kiruv is a long process, a long road, with many speed bumps along the way. Do you really expect the first conversation at the kotel to bring about a shomer Torah u’mitzvos? If you do, that’s part of where you’re wrong. It can take YEARS depending on the age.

As for the premise of the OP, I had to laugh. I NEVER thought of Aish as being overly zionistic whatsoever. They ARE lo

Yabia wtvr, Hebrew!?! Are you kidding???? I’ll bet LESS people in the USA can follow a drusha in Hebrew then in Yiddish.

Since the OP asked about Yiddish, let me tell you a 100% emes story from the last siyum. When the Klozenberger Rebbe was speaking in YIDDISH, I was standing near the 50 Yard line taking to the person who ran the Meadowlands Sports Complex and the person who oversaw MetLife Stadium. The gentleman from the Meadowlands looked at me and said, “I don’t know what he’s saying but one thing I do know from good speech. He is very very passionate.”

If the goy could “הער” and “דעהער” it in Yiddish so could you for a few minutes.

Go back to sheep! The bottled version tastes better than the garbage you would make at home because wine/juice grapes are totally different than table grapes! They dont have to add any Concentrate to it however Kedem might add some only to keep the flavor profile as grape juice tastes slightly different every year and even from vine to vine.

You should be gebentched! Without reading through this thread, I have no doubt you’re being blasted by many who seem to turn a blind eye to these sort of things. There’s nothing wrong with mentioning that there is a problem. However, I need to tell you the problem is not only in that location, the problem is in many locations. Certain locations it is more prevalent than others. How many times can you walk through Borough Park, the holy holy holy Borough Park, and see people walking around in tight and barely barely barely covering the necessities clothing? And I’m talking people who should know much much better!

The point is not to rant against any particular location, I was just bringing an example. And I don’t want anyone to think just because I mentioned one location, that means it’s all okay everywhere. It’s not okay. We need to do better. EACH GENDER NEEDS TO DO ITS JOB. just because we need to improve ourselves doesn’t mean, things can’t be pointed out l’toeles ha’rabim.

icemelter, if you dont want to support something that is your headache. Halacha allows us to kill animals for fur or any other use even if not for food. The Gemora in Chulin talks about that including killing a bird because you need the blood for something. You could kill animals for that.

As far as grafting, that is assur for YOU to DO, but there is no issur on you to buy klayim fruit. From what I understand many species of fruits we have nowadays began as klayim.

As far as peta yemach sh’mom v’zichrom, those mishiguim are against killing ALL animals no matter what. They play with videos to make them look bad or even worse. They have a Box Seat awaiting them in gehennim.

Sorry but this is narishkeit. The left lane is for PASSING ONLY so it makes no diff what your speedometer reads. If you aren’t PASSING, you are not allowed to hand out in the left lane. It is DANGEROUS and you WILL get pulled over.

If you get into the left lane to pass someone, make sure you move back to the right as soon as it is safe.

    From AAA:

Generally, the right lane of a freeway is for entering and exiting the traffic flow. It is a staging lane, for use at the beginning and end of your freeway run. The middle lanes are for through traffic, and the left lane is for passing. If you are not passing someone, you should not be driving in the left lane.

I drive well over 25k miles a year. It is the hangers out in the left lane who are the root of accidents!

Modern day flour is tempered in water for about 18 hours befor milling. In that time many many kernels begin splitting, meaning the inside “flour” was getting wet.

Selling flour to a goy for Pesach for those who don’t sell mamesh chometz is a machlokes amongst modern day poskim.

99% of you mamesh have NO idea what you are talking about. You are blabbering over to us what you heard on NPR or some other looney left radio station. I wont accuse you of having a tv to watch CNN, msNBC etc.

You want to stop these? SIMPLE! Get rid of this leftist mishigas called a gun free zone. A gun free zone to someone who wants to inflict as much carnage as possible is NOT a deterrent. IT IS A BIG FAT INVITATION! Its an invitation because he knows NO ONE has weapons to use against him! So he goes in with a lot less fear. If people were allowed to carry concealed weapons, with a gun license obviously, at the first sign of trouble the trained gun owners will eliminate the issue. Why wait the 5-10 min for the police to show up because in that time so many more could be dead or injured.

We heard the other day that one of the survivors had a plan to throw a fire extinguisher at the gunman. PULLLLEASE! A bullet vs a fire extinguisher?! REALLY? Let’s sum that confrontation over right now… ONE MORE DEAD KID.

    Now for the other stuff…

    From NSSF:
AR-rifles are among the most popular firearms being sold. They are today’s modern sporting rifle. The AR in “AR-15” rifle stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. “AR” does NOT stand for “assault rifle” or “automatic rifle.”

You need to understand the difference between an automatic and semi automatic weapon and the difference is VERY simple,

An automatic weapon means there is more than 1 bullet per pull on the trigger. The classic example of this would be a machine gun where one pull on the trigger releases many bullets. ALL AUTOMATIC WEAPONS ARE ILLEGAL IN THE USA!

A semi-automatic weapon means there is ONLY 1 bullet per pull on the trigger. Most guns are this type and these are mostly legal .

Of the illegal semi automatic weapons, most were deemed illegal because they look scarier than the others. In many cases, there was NO rhyme or reason why some were made illegal.

Remember, the only thing that could stop someone with a gun, is someone else with a gun!

I guess P T Barnum was right again, there’s a sucker born every minute.

It is clear that the OP has no idea in the world what a GMO is. The fact that he believes the garbage on the internet tells me that there is a serious issue with him. With all due respect to Aish and all the good work they do, you still have a lot to learn. Perhaps you should come back after learning for another 15 years or so when you can actually paskin shaylos.

Why doesn’t it bother you that you, yes you, are also a genetically modified organism? You have to be because otherwise you wouldn’t be here.

A person has to learn to think when they see narishkeit on the internet. You have to think is this true. Can it be true? Does it make sense in reality? In this case, it makes no sense whatsoever. GMO foods have been around for a long time, longer than three generations yet we keep procreating.

Without GMO, we would not have many of the foods that we have and their availability because the crops would not be able to handle the various temperatures or seasons or any other reason that crops are bred the way they are.

If you want to be careful for whatever the reason is to eat non-GMO, go right ahead and spend the extra money in order to be able to do so but please please please stay out of my business!

What makes sense is that Uncle Moishy probably had a contract that expired and he wanted to take control of the franchise.

The “Uncle Moishy” franchise so to speak, is trademarked, either by S&D or by the original Uncle Moishy and that is the underlying issue.

So why S&D had to come out with a new Uncle Moishy instead is calling him something else like Fred is beyond me. Unless the guy’s real name is Moshe, in which case they get a pass.

I’ve been averaging about 25 to 30,000 miles a year for the last 25 years. Driving in the left lane is illegal in just about every state. The left lane is for passing ONLY. if you hang out in the left lane, even if you are going the speed limit, you will get a big fat ticket. In fact you are probably going to be the cause of many accidents or almost accidents.

If you want to drive like a grandmother, get over into the right lane where you belong. Leave the center and left lanes for us professionals.
