ZeesKiteParticipant
I bet no one saw this
ZeesKiteParticipantSo is this post. Do not eat!
ZeesKiteParticipantcherrybim: A wife is not THAT dangerous!!!
ZeesKiteParticipantWhich one is the English birthday?
ZeesKiteParticipantyekke: Nothing at all. I just wanted to see if the Rebbitzen (in question) knew. Don’t forget – I asked who the mechaber of the BAAL Hamaor was, not the mechaber of the Maor. Purposefully. (I guess guys here still don’t know me)
ZeesKiteParticipantICOT: Seems like ever since the incident with the short circuit, you’re avoiding me li<<ZZZAP>>
ZeesKiteParticipanteman:
First of all there’s a concept of ????? ??? ?????. It was such a powerful program, it’s effects still materializing and blossoming. Secondly, who says one was not able to learn at the siyum? The speeches were also learning.
ZeesKiteParticipantI see not to many talmudicians were able to answer my question posed to the “Rebbitzen” above.
Maybe someone could clarify the concept of ????? ???? ???? ??? ????? ?????.
ZeesKiteParticipantBecause everyone HERE is my family. They know me. Relatives however…
ZeesKiteParticipant..YOU WERE HALF EXPECTING ANOTHER OF MY…
ZeesKiteParticipant..You were bestowed with the gift of sight.
..You logged on to the most fabulous sight of the world wide.
ZeesKiteParticipantSorry, forgot one more line (for you)
.. You were curious!!
ZeesKiteParticipantJust thinking (not that again).. Maybe this thread is for the “thank you men” – men who give thanks..
ZeesKiteParticipant.. The day a relative of mine (AND MOMMY!) found out my screen name.
ZeesKiteParticipantThe Rebbitzen still did not answer my question above. Maybe some of the Rabbis can?
ZeesKiteParticipantsyag, Yes, we’re related. Not the same, though. In fact he didn’t even know me at the beginning. Remember when people were mistaking me for Eclipse ???”? (why not give her an additional 10 years)? He came to distinguish, separate us two saying that I’m from Eretz Yisroel, carefree etc. (hardly think so, I’m in the US of America, obnoxious personality etc…)
ZeesKiteParticipant2cents: I don’t think women are ungrateful. Actually that was a trait of the first man ???? ??? ????.. Women may not feel the need to express publicly their feelings of gratitude and appreciation.
ZeesKiteParticipantThank you SiDi for taking note of my humblekite existence. (please read this only when you’re online)
ZeesKiteParticipantAnd I thought a woman recites ????? ??????..
ZeesKiteParticipantI know. I posed the question for her (better yet, maybe him).
ZeesKiteParticipantHU?!?
ZeesKiteParticipantTo you – Rebbetzin Goldenxxxxxxx:
If you’re takeh (yeshivish shprach) such a baki(es), and know all yeshivish related lamdus, maybe you can tell me who was the mechaber of the baal hamaor.
ZeesKiteParticipantyekke, You’re nor the only one. As I stated some time ago, my ancestors were Yekke.
ZeesKiteParticipant42, I don’t think so. She’s very, very smart bli eyin hora (Smart enough to be my Mommy), but I don’t think it’s up her line.
ZeesKiteParticipantIt’s so nice when a Mod mods his own.
ZeesKiteParticipant42, you didn’t have to understand. Your neshamah did. It was so powerful, it penetrated ALL Jews present. (you’re Jewish, I suppose)
ZeesKiteParticipantSo,will the real one please raise his right hand?
ZeesKiteParticipantAgain, as stated on another thread, I have no inner knowledge of the proceedings, nor have a want to. It just seems to me that speakers were picked in accordance to the attendees of the crowd. There were far more English speaking among us – therefore much more English. Then there were a considerable amount of Yiddish speaking (wether they understood English or not), so to make them to feel “at home” they had a bit in Yiddish. That’s all.
For me? Just being between so many coreligionists made me feel RIGHT AT HOME.
ZeesKiteParticipantI don’t know. How should I know if ANYONE has?
Hate to hijack this thread, or even divert it, but it’s related to the heading.
I was sitting in back of two individuals by the siyum who were in constant (loud) conversation during the speeches, but gave the musical interludes all their attention. C’mon, haven’t you figured what’s an Ikkur and what’s the tafel?!? The whole thing was to pay tribute to the Torah and it’s Holy Giver. Show your proper respect and know your priorities. Our true heroes are the Gedolim, not the performers.
ZeesKiteParticipant(a mamin, please a little lower.)
One thing I’d like to state – I’m Baruch HaShem blissfully ignorant of political sciences in general and especially regarding kehillos, personalities. I’m well aware of so much “politica”, after-effects of the siyum, who, what, why… So much tongue wagging and etc. I heard co-workers and friends go on and on with all the details, groups, personalities.. (How do you type with two fingers in your ears?)
Baruch HaShem, He somehow hooked me up with the Chafetz Chaim’s lifelong movement long ago, enough not to CARE for these maladies. ?? ??? ?? ??? ????? ??. Sometimes ignorance IS bliss. So maybe my pekel will be somewhat less.
One more point, all these averos notwithstanding, it was still certainly well worth it. The massive kiddush HaShem and Kovod HaTorah, chachameha and lomdeha was unparalleled.
ZeesKiteParticipantMoski, but I DID find you. Weren’t you the main speaker?
ZeesKiteParticipantway too personal…
ZeesKiteParticipantI was going to comment on this thread, but then you would think that I either learn the Daf, am a woman, both or neither. So, I’ll leave it to Rebbitzen Golden(pickanicerscreenname). If you really HAVE TO know, you’ll have to ask Mommy.
One thing I will say, I truly merited to be a part of this most massive siyum! Thank you HaShem!!! (thank you again for turning off the water, to make it more comfortable for the attendees)
ZeesKiteParticipantMODs please change that the heading to “OUR”
ZeesKiteParticipantSome mothers are so wonderful. They can even get their kids to think they’re ZeesKites.
ZeesKiteParticipant147, I too noticed that. HaShem, in his infinite kindness showered us with His blessings instead.
ZeesKiteParticipantOK, I’ll say (write) it again.
Of all the names (complimentary and otherwise) Mommy called me, this one I liked.
ZeesKiteParticipantSiDi: Will you be there? Making a siyum? Haschala?
ZeesKiteParticipantNO ONE?!?
What’s going on? No one here learns Daf Yomi?!? Then how about the women? Someone’s gotta do it. Someone here HAS TO stand up there to represent the CR.
ZeesKiteParticipantSo.. You a a Bachur?!?
ZeesKiteParticipantOh, I didn’t think you were ‘slow’. The last post was written twelve months ago.
ZeesKiteParticipantSiDi:
As HaLeiVi stated, that is the case. People here from a while back know not to take ANYTHING I write seriously!!
One more thing. You read exactly what I wrote!!!
btw, Mods are truly tzadikim, they put up with me and my daily (hourly!) “literature” so graciously..
ZeesKiteParticipantSyag, I’m afraid they won’t let me anywhere near the dais. I’m concerned – they wrote something in the brochure about little children who can’t sit…
ZeesKiteParticipantIf I were a Mod I would h {EDITED} – You’re not supposed to entertain such thoughts. Look under Rules, Moderation “Do not request to be a moderator…”
ZeesKiteParticipantYeah, you know what? Me too. I could use some good beats. I have a Korg and Yamaha. You wouldn’t have styles for violin too, would you?
ZeesKiteParticipantKozov, Sorry I irk you so. It’s just that Mommy didn’t teach me what serious means.
C’MON, LIGHTEN UP A BIT!!
ZeesKiteParticipantI’ll “Supposedly” try it!
ZeesKiteParticipantIf you didn’t realize, my question was in jest. (oh, really) A play on the OP
ZeesKiteParticipant42 – WUZZAT!?!
ZeesKiteParticipantI forgot. After translating the signals into Morse code, the device then turns them into smoke signals.
