ZeesKiteParticipant
Coffee! Still can’t figure me out?!
ZeesKiteParticipantWhy are some people here so morbid, serious.
You’re living anyways. Can’t do anything about it. So why not smile.
ZeesKiteParticipantGot it all wrong. We know a minyan is ten because of the word “eida” – Alef=1; Dalet=4; Heh=5. Grand total of ten.
ZeesKiteParticipantComputer777:
I didn’t think any of my posts are especially full of anything you mentioned, including this one. You’re 100% (*10) right. I should be thankful that I’m able to do work, and I get paid for it too. THANK YOU, HaShem!
What I was referring to is the ???? (curse) to Adam harishon of ????? ???? ????. HaShem cursed us with manual mundane labor. Moreover, he set about a feeling of cause-and-effect, that produce (and dough) follows the efforts of one’s input. That one should actually WANT to work, and feel an urge to INCREASE and GROW one’s business/profession/work (curse). In reality it’s not that way. HaShem just makes it appear that way for many reasons. One, for without that no one would so much as lift up his finger. HaShem wants his creatures to be busy, to lead a fulfilling life.
But in reality, us, the ?? ?????, have really something else entirely to be busy with. Keeping HaShem’s Torah and commandments – ????? ??????. That is ideally what our sole interest and focus should be. ???? ?? ????? ????? – work we have to – it should ideally be in Torah. If we were at a higher plane, it would suffice us to be totally involved and focused in spiritual matters. Worldly sustenance and goods would follow. That is living the life of an elevated “oved” similar to Adam harishon before the misstep. Where he was busy with mitzvhos (????? ??????) and malachim would bring him the finest olam hazeh has to offer.
Unfortunately after his misstep – the life we live in the present, we cannot occupy ourselves totally with the spiritual, we must also toil with the “earth”. That is ????. Gashmius and Ruchnius must coexist – through our efforts. We must share and expend our concentration and attention with the mundane.
I think there’s a medrash on the pasuk in Eichah ????? ?’ ???? ?? ???? ???, of something to the effect of HaShem having set us up in the fashion of a slave whose master won’t feed him. He must work for himself, for his own survival, and at the same time, concurrently, work and labor for his master. So too, we, must be busy with our basic survival – professions, labors, businesses, and at the same time be wholly and totally dedicated and involved with HaShem and His Mitzvhos – our sole purpose in this world. That is what the Navi was lamenting.
ZeesKiteParticipantHappened again. I had to w**k. TERRIBLE!!
ZeesKiteParticipantEnder, Now you know my equation. So that’s the news!
October 11, 2012 12:07 am at 12:07 am in reply to: Why do we beat hoshanos on Hoshanah Rabbah? #899103ZeesKiteParticipantThank you Wisey for your information. About the Zohar thing, I’m not sure I’m really into it.
ZeesKiteParticipantWe twisted and turned yesterday. All day long!!
ZeesKiteParticipantSame here!!
ZeesKiteParticipantNo news = News.((0)* 380205464.6439)
I think.
ZeesKiteParticipant.. And I davened for others too. Especially our dear chevra!!
ZeesKiteParticipantThank you, actually very, very much. We had B”H a beautiful Yom Tov season. Inspirational, uplifting, joyous.
ZeesKiteParticipantYaakov, now THAT is an excellent idea.
I also think it should be only metchlich, that people who own driveways should only park in then, not take up a needless extra space.
ZeesKiteParticipantI have a relative who also joined, and finished the maseches.
ZeesKiteParticipantWow. Just in time for my re-joining.
You definitely have very valid arguments. (I do think the minhag avelim thing is true)
The main part of the game, AND YOUR S’CHAR is how you deal with her. “l’fum tzaara agra” – reward (here in this world and the next) is according to and multiplied by the difficulty. I may not be of any help or consolation tho you – but alot of poeple have that same issue. Rabbi Miller zta”l says that these encounters and trials are what makes us grow. We don’t beg HaShem to give us such nisyonos, but in retrospect we can elevate ourselves to actually thank HaShem for it – ???? ?? ?????? another meaning is to thank HaShem for affliction – because ???? ?? ?????? it was for out own benefit.
Most people have a way to get through to them. Diplomacy, with tenderness, calm. Maybe humor. It IS demanding. But rewarding.
Hatzlacha.
ZeesKiteParticipant42, mine too? All my past (how should I phrase it?) “rubbish” is your property? I think I’ll be marbe your “property”. Will it be marbe your worry?
ZeesKiteParticipantDoes anyone happen to know how ?????? ?? ???? got her name?
ZeesKiteParticipantNO! You got me wrong. I’m not leaving. (I can’t). I’d just rather lay low here during this serious, solemn season, as much as possible. I may need the time to do computer work (cheshbon hanefesh). Can be sure I’m thinking of you all. Esp. some close, good friends here!!
ZeesKiteParticipantWhat they do?!? Hmm..
Could be they do the same thing as in the city. Just with slightly more effort, with a lot less. Less space. Less amenities, conveniences, appliances. Generally its an endless battle against the dirt, elements for invading the personal space. Generally doctors for kids are not down the block. So with the grocery, supermarket. Then there the issues that only country life brings on, like children vs. the wild outdoors. Close (too close) neighbors.. And the list goes on..
ZeesKiteParticipantOh, I don’t instruct, I just suggest. Trying it on myself now.
ZeesKiteParticipantCurosity: What made you think she’s not a woman, she indicated to that fact many times. I could help you find your jaw.
ZeesKiteParticipantWhy am I up now? Well, someone has to man the front, so, here I is.
ZeesKiteParticipantIt may be that it was the best place suited for such a crowd. (really?) Yidden generally have no use for such public events other than as such, therefore we don’t build our own. (oh) But anyway I think it says something about stadiums becoming a place for Torah, or something to that effect.
ZeesKiteParticipantMy Zeesest Brochos to you!
ZeesKiteParticipantI commend, admire you, Syag, on you self-restraint and principled attitude!!
ZeesKiteParticipantYou can bet I had everyone away. They were all in the country – it was before and during the summer neither my children nor my grandchildren (?!?) were around. I did spray into drawers and shelves like there was no tomorrow, of course I cleaned up at the end of the summer (uch).
ZeesKiteParticipantI do to, tons!!
ZeesKiteParticipantOK, Let me too tell my story.
It was a few years ago, towards summer, when we noticed some of those <> creatures in our apartment. At the time we put down these stick-ons, the ones that are supposed to kill them and the eggs.. Well, it didn’t. As time progressed so did they. Our apartment was eventually swarming with them. We tried bombing TWICE to no avail. Poison strips. Nothing.
Then one day someone told me about boric acid. So I tried. I poured and poured like there was no tomorrow, into holes and cracks, drawers, shelves, in appliances, under appliances, behind appliances etc. Within a few days they were all B”H gone!! We B”H have not a repeat! HaShem should continue to protect us.
ZeesKiteParticipant? the sun? me?
Don’t know about the others, I never claimed to have a head.
ZeesKiteParticipantWoW. Again, advice (at least sane advice) is not any of my 2.5 talents. A cursory glance at my pithy handiworks can attest to that. I’m here just to lend you a shoulder to cry on, to dry your tears, to try to comfort and be mechazek. It’s my humble belief that a healthy and relaxed, strong minded person would make a better decisions and take matters easier. And I’m here to try to lift you, however slightly, to be able to see a not so distant BRIGHTER future.
ZeesKiteParticipantHe indicated somewhere that he’ll be busy for some time.
ZeesKiteParticipantI think you’re a wise man saying he’s a wise guy for thinking he’s a wise man that you’re a wise guy thinking that you’re a wise man saying he’s a wise guy for thinking he’s a wise man that you’re a wise guy thinking that you’re a wise man saying he’s a wise guy…
ZeesKiteParticipantOh my, sorry for that misspelling – it should of course read “your TRUE self”.
I guess that’s what happens when I think or type faster than I type or think.
ZeesKiteParticipantYou’re yourself!! No one else could do it. We’re all counting on you. (btw, Oomis, you posts reveal your rue self, you ARE compassionate, caring, giving, and a lot more positive attributes I could identify you with)
ZeesKiteParticipantThat’s me to the Z.
Not smart enough.
I don’t think I’m right.
I have no points at all.
Oh. I forgot, I don’t like arguments at all. That’s for arabs. (So says Harav Shmuel (Kuda, that is))
ZeesKiteParticipantSomeone’s out to ruin my sleeping threads..
ZeesKiteParticipant<resuming breathing>
ZeesKiteParticipantWoW, I know you’re not getting to read this anytime soon, I just found some time to write.
No – I’m not dispensing any unwanted, uncalled-for advice, direction, or knowledge of any sort. (I’m afraid it’s not something for any sane person). Me? I’m here for a shoulder, maybe a good word, a boost, that can strengthen and fortify you with kochos you need at this time.
Yes, I did have you (Hashem knows who you are) in mind in my Tefillah. I’m sure many others here viewing and sharing with your saga, are also davening for you.
???? ???? ???? ???, it’s in your nature to build (or in this case rebuild). You will succeed ????? ???. Bring HaShem into you your home, mention Him constantly – ??? ?’ ???? ??????!!
Again – we’re ALL cheering and rooting for you. ??? ????!!
ZeesKiteParticipantME?!
ZeesKiteParticipantWHO? WHAT?
Am I missing something (besides some/all marbles). What in heaven’s name is going on here. What’s with all this hate, bigotry, or plain sina?
CHEER UP. E V E R Y O N E ! ! !
ZeesKiteParticipantQUICK!!! Something to tame me!!! Tranquilizer…
ZeesKiteParticipantDid YOU get this andere kuk?
ZeesKiteParticipantHey.. That’s a great one.. WATCH –
ZeesKiteParticipantSuppose I peppered someone’s brand new day with a smile… (uch)
ZeesKiteParticipantItche and Popa, having fun is one thing, toying with stocks in the world to come is another.
ZeesKiteParticipantOk, Popa, have anything against me? I’m a bigger talmid. btw, how do you know for a fact that he was a talmid? Have you heard of this Great Man’s derech? His shumesen in Yiddish, English?
Again, I don’t think this is the path you (or any Torah true Jew) should be taking. ISN’T THIS THE YESHIVA WORLD???
ZeesKiteParticipantWoW (I happen to think you’re always right)
You can always count on me. I can dispense some of my sagacious, sought-after advice. Here to serve you 21.5/6 (gotta sleep some time to keep those gears intact)
Keep it up. WE’RE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!! With our (yours’ and our’s) tefillos, and endurance, you WILL ??”? succeed!!
ZeesKiteParticipantKozov: Only the Mighty Mods know.
ZeesKiteParticipantPopa, Please, a bit of respect for that great man. I was by a few of his shiurim. I’m not one to evaluate or measure gedolim, but he certainly was from the elite few. I don’t exactly know what you had against this Joseph, which may at this time be non-existent, but you shouldn’t ?? ????? equate the two. I’m not exactly sure how one goes about asking mechila of a Godol no longer among us, but it’s serious stuff. ????? ????? ??? is not something to be taken lightly. In fact if 80 were here moderating, I’m sure he’d pick up on those terrible, demeaning remarks.
ZeesKiteParticipant(it’s the cutest way of publicizing to all that you’ve began, perhaps yet another round, of Daf Yomi)
Chazak V’ematz!
