“How did YOU make it work?”

I suppose you’re directing the question to me. Capital “YOU”. Well, I didn’t make it to work. Unless you consider my keyboarding this reply to you “work”. In that case the answer is – by walking over to my computer.

So when can I expect the bill from MediumThinker Esq. & Co. to arrive? (They generally say something like 2-3 business days, I have no business days. Obviously.)

Oomis, which one, the real one here or the fake one in real life?

This was asked before (and then some).

And the answer is, of course, no. Not at all. In real life I’m really pleasant to be around with. Good natured, soft spoken, a smile constantly on my countenance. Well mannered, selfless, always considerate of others. Will not fly off the handle, in control of my emotions. You get the picture.

Here, on the other hand, where I’m blissfully anonymous, I run amok like a wild untamed creature (reminds me of my cousin, ???? ???? ??? ???). Anything goes. Any & everything that comes into my silly, wild mind gets broadcasted. I take no one into consideration, I care not for anyone’s feelings. I’m easily provoked, when I’m mad I let lose a tirade (and how). Again. You get the picture.

So tell me, is my personality (or lack of it, maybe animality) reflected in my posting?

How do you know no one improved? It happens to be we did. We took an extra effort in Chinuch matters outlined in sensible OP’s suggestions.

I sighted one escaping the underground secret Modding complex located at 138 ({EDITED} DON’T DARE DISCLOSE OUR CLASSIFIED LOCATION -0000) a few minutes ago. Smoke billowing out of his ears.. Face was a strange technicolor of blackish-grey-white-red-(green)..

    Poor fellow.

He looked like he was running for dear life.

    Let me try again.

Notice who’s shouting, who’s going ballistic? Why? Did the OP shout, rant, foam? Why all the hate directed at the Ehrliche? Did anyone attack you?

    I think it’s a case of TheTruthHurtsits.

I’m not one to get mixed into the fray, it’s just that this never ending sinah is ONE WAY!! They always come in, drop by and remark their same mantra “Because of YOUR sina we’re in galus”. Oh really? OUR sina? Where? Again WHERE?!? Perhaps there are still some level headed that can truly rethink, maybe, just maybe, THEY’RE the ones driving such sina, hatered.

V’ahavta L’reach K’mocha is towards Torah True Jews too.

Jewish Jews are not allowed to touch members of the opposing gender. That’s part of the set of instructions the Great Inventor handed down to us. We follow, we don’t ask why, we don’t compromise.

I thought I mentioned at one time that if people knew me in real life they’d “keep back 200 feet” (that’s 50 animals). Anyways who has time to schmooz? Someone got to keep this place up and running. That’s a 22.5/6 job. When I finally zonk out (that’s when reality sets in, if I’m not going to RIP myself away, I’m going to be a zombie the next day), I set it to Auto-Thread mode.

Yes, we all are to some extent. A Baal Ruach HaKodah has his senses more in tune, more in sync with HaShem. More Seyata d’Shmaya. Not EVERY thought will be divine, even real Nevi’im weren’t ALWAYS answered. Moreover, during the Holocaust, we found that even true Tzadikim, Baali Ruach HaKodesh lost their power. HaShem has the ultimate say. But someone who works on himself to cleanse and purify himself, one who dedicates his life to Avodas HaShem, will ultimately be on a higher plane, closer to Ratzon HaShem.

    Golfer,

No, it’s spelled correctly. Like ???? ???? ???? by Yitzchak’s brachah to Esav, it means when you have cause to cry. As Rashi says ???? ???. Here too, one’s business is causing oneself pain. A craftsman is paining himself with his work.

I don’t know, I’ll try again (just is case they miss this post)

I’ve read through most of this (hot) thread, and again, I’ve not found any of the (hate, vitriol, slander, poison) directed at any poster, or even at the Movement in question. To the contrary, it is ALWAYS someone from their camp foaming at the mouth screaming (holier than thou.. you’re turning people off.. you’re spewing hate..) I don’t know. It’s my own observation.

Someone pointed out at the beginning that we ought to put a dagash, an emphasis, on HaShem, His Mitzvhos, His Torah, and earnestly talk about them to one’s children in order to bestow upon them a love for Torah life. Was any hate recommended?

C’mon brothers and sisters. I suspect you have more to offer.

If you had shemiras anayim you wouldn’t have become so mad. And I don’t think you should be judging posters of this hallowed site so viciously. If it doesn’t conform to your taste, lifestyle, then (as Mommy told me) don’t look. You have something against out tireless Mods? They didn’t write anything, like they didn’t pen your vicious attack either. They’re not even “deciding which are the ‘important’ commandments”, maybe you are. Dealing with others civilly (I think) is a mitzvah too.

And no, you and every one else in your category are making the same mistake. No one directs vitriol at anyone who is a fraction… No. And No. It may be the way you feel. But IT’S NOT OUR FEELING. (did I ever say anything bad to you before?)

I welcome you to cool down a bit, sit down to a (virtual) hot coffee in our cozy little coffee-room. Thinkerator may operate better, clearer.

btw I don’t call mitzvhos poison. They’re my conduit of connection and love towards my Creator.

    Mrs. Katz.

Not every one here are qualified to be Bubbies. (their Bubbies told them, through mesorah, that the correct spelling is ‘Bubbies’).

Furthermore, a wise, caring Bubby will know when to offer and when to stand back (biting her lips) silently. Remember, she also had a MIL. More – the DIL will (hopefully) also be a MIL, the words of Pirkei Avos come to light ?? ????? ?????, ???? ??????? ??????. There’s a Yiddish expression for that, ???? ??? ???, ??? ??? ??? ???. It all comes back, ??? ???? ???. Treat her nicely. It doesn’t cost any money.

No, you know where you stand, head is generally well secured and fastened. From your practical, wise, meaningful posts you reveal much about yourself and attitude. There aren’t too many people around that engage head before mouth (and pen, keyboard). Moreover, having emotions is a very important human characteristic. Not letting it overrun you is the trick. Again, I think you stand out in this talent too. (in my humblekite I think one must be aware of one’s positive attributes too)
