I think I’ll do the same as Mod 80. I’ll open this thread just to get this in. Closed again!

Someone (I forgot who) wrote something to the effect of “do u intend to revive this thread every friday? i dont see the need”.

I’m so scared off. Could someone else do it for me?

Just kidding!!! When I posted ‘Good Shabbos’ on the ‘Time to Close Shop’ one, someone got annoyed.

And you expect us to give you that classified information. Maybe you’re monitoring our ip address, you’ll swoop down in 2 helicopters (land one, crash the other), and grab the backup for analysis… No, we learned our lesson. You’ll have to gather your intelligence a different way.

s2021: I can’t fully understand what you wrote, but I’m not in the least C”V judging another poster. It is totally on the issues, not on any specific person. I did not write to -YOU- only to the idealism written. (‘Midos alert’ is from midos machine, thought you knew that, didn’t think anyone would be hurt by that.)

Slichah, if you took it to heart. (Mommy taught me to apologize.)

Sure, I remember it now. A good man is one who will not bring his wife’s head to the king in order to get (his daughter?). The woman was given a wooden sword…

s2021: Please allow me to leave my world of ZeesKite for a moment, (take off my mask & kid gloves).

IMHO (I forgot, I’m temporarily not ZeesKite, shouldn’t have mentioned ‘humble’), if you treat a husband like a dog, he’ll bite. Hard. Something like ‘get up’, ‘go here’, (‘open the door for me’, ‘go to the basement for me’), I’ll give you a bone (compliment) for it. Sorry, men see through. Any man worth anything will resent being pulled by his ears. A woman is certainly not master over her husband ‘I changed him forever’. Trying to manipulate him through ANY WHICH WAY is meaningless. Most are smarter.

But who cares? Let’s get to the main point. Going into a relationship upside-down, with selfish attitudes of ‘..that really works on some guys..’ is a recipe for failure. How can I secure the maximum out of him? – No. Marriage is all about GIVING. The attitude of the question is so unZeesKite. It takes maturity. Sorry. Kindly be mochel if I caused any pain.

Let me go back into my ZeesKite. Hi! Anything’s happening here?

Correct me if I’m wrong, I think OP’s really some guy trying to put women in a REAL bad light. Always with the “what can I get out of him” mindset. “Encourage it to continue” “Deserve it” “Expects it”

It does not conform to the regular mentality of girls seeking shiduchim. Sorry. Most girls are not SOOO selfish.

Sacrilege: You’re right, I’ve not heard. Why should I? Why is so much focus on the negative traits of the other??? THAT IS THE PROBLEM!!! Sometimes one has to actively play ‘tam’ – ignore some minute deficiencies. ????? ??? ?? – he was the master over his ?????? – thats how he was able to excel in life.

How terrible! I woke up this morning, counted all my part & pieces, found them all intact and refreshed, washed & got out of bed. Isn’t that just terrible. Furthermore, I found my Zeeskites happily & lovingly enjoying each other & playing together. How utterly horrible! Gotta do something about that. (Yea – that’s what one part of Davening is made for – ????? ?? ????)

So here goes another disgusting boy bashing thread. I’m really horrified to see SUCH negativity. I don’t use such strong wording often (I’m a ZeesKite!) but that’s what it is. No wonder so many single… Again, HaShem made both versions of mankind (I forgot which one came first), to constantly complain about one is to criticize c”v HaShem’s handiwork.

Yes, if it falls into the category of lashon horah, (derogatory or causing loss) then it’s lashon hora even (maybe even more) when posting. The fact that it’s in public domain makes it a lot worse.

However, in my VERY humble opinion, it should not be applied to posters – one on another – since we are anonymous. (most of us..) In our case, I think, the laws of Ona’as Devarim apply. Even in anonymity one can hurt another’s feelings. I don’t think it happens here, just pointing it out!
