Hey! You missed this!
ZeesKiteParticipantWhy they go off the ‘derech’? Sometimes to stop and ask for directions.
ZeesKiteParticipantJothar:
I hear you. I’d just wanna let you know it gefilered.
ZeesKiteParticipantHi Lieb, I’m right over here. No, not there, slightly to the right, almost, almost, yes, you got it.
So as we were saying before…
November 11, 2011 3:26 pm at 3:26 pm in reply to: You know you're not a yeshiva guy anymore when… #1197504ZeesKiteParticipantWhen one feels the utter emptiness of the outside world as apposed to the feeling of a safe sheltered kedushah life in the cocoon of Yeshiva. Take a peek at the happiness, Kesusha, contentment radiating from the faces of the Gedolim just passed!
ZeesKiteParticipantsnjn:
Once again, women are Mechuyav in ALL mitzvhos be it obvious or not, external or not. They’re exempt , as all know, from “mitzvos assay shehazman gerama”, time-dependent positive commandments, internal or external, obvious or not. That is THE SOLE difference.
I’ve been reading about this “hidden/private mitzvohs” thing here time and again, it’s just nonsense. (or someone’s erroneous ‘internal’ whim)
ZeesKiteParticipantYes, I know. It’s what people do when they have unfinished business.
ZeesKiteParticipantThree chairs for you sister!
ZeesKiteParticipant‘Addictive’ is putting it mildly. ‘My life’ – that sounds more like it!
ZeesKiteParticipantsnjn: I wouldn’t call mitzvohs ‘external’. No, they’re what in fact makes us Jewish. Remember where we became Jews? Yeah, the place we said ???? ?????. Where HaShem said ???? ?? ???? ????? ?????. That was when HaShem “flashed us His news”.
Furthermore, a bit of reading Chazal indeed reveal to us that it’s as I wrote.
This topic was a ‘troll’ not to demean any gender. The OP could be a woman for all I know.
ZeesKiteParticipantEveryone’s bringing back their old threads. So I figur <OOPS I forgot the heading>
ZeesKiteParticipantPeoplach, it was the ‘gilgul-accusedasjosephindepast’ who mods deemed necessary to… His s/n lasted all of about 3.5 hours.
ZeesKiteParticipantoomis:
OK back to square one (that’s what 42 intended). So according to your (???) logic, goyim are more Jewish then Jews. They don’t need the mitzvohs that Jews do! Yisraelim are more holy than Kohanim, they don’t require those additional ‘reminders’…
Let me try to reiterate (again..)
The little Chazal I’ve come across CLEARLY state the opposite. A person’s Jewishness (halachakly) is evaluated by his/her Mitzvah OBLIGATION status. In the order a man says birchas hashachar. (goy, eved isha) – indeed that is the REASON for those brochos. A (real) Jewish woman, feeling a longing for this loss, submits her longing to HaShem’s decision, and says Sheasani Kirtzono. Any other attempt to misinterpret, misconstrue its real meaning is just that.
November 10, 2011 3:11 pm at 3:11 pm in reply to: Are they Handing Out Other Drinks in the Coffee Room? #825322ZeesKiteParticipantSeems like the gilgul became a dibuk!
ZeesKiteParticipantIn my humblest opinion, it’s a natural thought process that occurs after a beloved passes. It should get back to normal.
Iv’e heard once, there’s a Chazal (somewhere) saying ????? ?? ??? ?????, which seems to indicate that it’s useful, indeed healthy to have some ‘morbid’ thoughts, theses should be only as a last defense, when all else (mentioned there) failed. It is sometimes too destructive a force. If it gets in the way of Avodas HaShem, help should be sought.
Now to the pros….
November 10, 2011 5:59 am at 5:59 am in reply to: how many cups of coffee did you eat today? #825211ZeesKiteParticipantThat seems to be the nature of CR gilguls!
Or maybe to much vinegar consumption (as per profile)
ZeesKiteParticipantOne more comment, if I may. I may have written about this before. It’s about the concept that speech defines the person. One who puts a conscious effort at refining his/her speech, will end up a more refined, better person. So it really goes both ways. Speech is the outcome (mirror) of a person’s character straits, and a person’s middos, character are the outcome of his/her speech.
ZeesKiteParticipant“You know” so much. There’s one thing however, you don’t know. The people here, members of the CR, don’t act out AT ALL as you’ve described. “I know” (as you phrased it) the people here. The are extremely nice, kind, tolerating, considerate and pleasant to be around with. So I don’t “chap” why you posted that here. (The ones to whom it is directed don’t log on here)
ZeesKiteParticipantNo, NO. DON’T REPEAT IT! Thank HaShem you’re still sensitive to it. How many of us have ‘downgraded’, desensitized to the dirt, filth and sewage from the street. Keep it up. DO BECOME SICK OVER IT!! That’s just re-confirming that you’re still a ben/bas Melech! You haven’t lost your grandeur despite your surrounding! That is something to admire!!
What to say to this individual? “Es Past nisht”. It’s not becoming of an orthodox Jew to express himself in such a lowly manner.
ZeesKiteParticipantSurprised Mods let this through. There are so many threads alluding to this…
ZeesKiteParticipantWhy? Because otherwise people might get the impression that I’m intelligent, literate.
ZeesKiteParticipant72, Ever heard .. He is a she, a dog is a fish…
ZeesKiteParticipantobservanteen: I see you ‘shteig’ in other areas as well! Well written, extremely moving, it should stir a heart of stone!
ZeesKiteParticipantFolks, remember now to put it away in a safe place!
ZeesKiteParticipantEmunas Itecha: Thank you for you most beautiful piece. I have grown to admire, cherish your pieces. (makes sticking out here feel more worthwhile)
ZeesKiteParticipantRav Popa: I humbly beg to differ with you in two points. #1-One shouldn’t be machria the words of a Godol, I think. #2-It is a basic concept to the Torah & Torah-true Jews, the issue of ??? ????? ????? ?????? ??? ????? ??? ????? ????, not just a hidur or “nice” thing. It’s the language that keeps us apart, ???????? ??? ???????, it’s indeed our very essence – ??? ???? ?? ?????. It would be advisable to start at the youngest age possible. Reb Yaakov Ztz”l was obviously not referring to speech refinement.
ZeesKiteParticipantOneOfMany
A little lighter on the tone, please. One doesn’t want to start the week defaming a rabim.
ZeesKiteParticipantIt is a valid question. And the answer is it’s an extension of Kovod Shabbos. We change our clothing, speech and greeting.
ZeesKiteParticipantMODs,
I apologize for all the “fun” I’ve created, and to Jothar for the uncalled-for, uncaring remark towards him. Sorry. I’ll try to be more thoughtful. (thread was closed)
==> MORE (kosher) FUN NEXT WEEK!! <==
Thanks Mods for all your ‘savlanus’. Each & every one having to go through my harangue!
ZeesKiteParticipantWhy not get an auto deJosepher?
ZeesKiteParticipantHey, place seems familiar…
(next time please a bit more edel… Thanks)
ZeesKiteParticipantAnd how do we verify the one who verifies?
And how do we verify the one who verifies the one who verifies?
And how do we verify the one who verifies the one who verifies the one who verifies?
And how do we veri{Insert Paper}
ZeesKiteParticipantAlways: Maybe that’s the difference between the two Jos. One disturbs specific people. The other makes everyone unpleasant!
ZeesKiteParticipantDo we have to take off our shoes and head gear when making the phone call?
ZeesKiteParticipantSN’s is one word or two?
ZeesKiteParticipantJothar:
I suppose you missed out on “Would MODs allow me to impersonate myself?”
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/would-mods-allow-me-to-impersonate-myself
ZeesKiteParticipantAnd HaLeiVi, you most certainly DON’T want to start up with some guys. They can easily remove “not” from your subtitle!
ZeesKiteParticipantMindOverChatter: Actually not.
ZeesKiteParticipantThey go through all my (how should I put it) masterpieces. They have patience made of steel. Obviously they are of the most refined individuals.
ZeesKiteParticipantSo now we know he’s a father, and lives in a roach infested apartment! It’ll take some time, my auto-poster-location-detector device has been duly activated…
ZeesKiteParticipantAvraham in XX (now unlawful to specify!)
I don’t have ANYTHING against him or anyone. After all he’s Big Brother, trying to keep us children safe. Just a bit fun. OK? Have any other topics? It’s been DEAD here since I returned. Grand Chief Dr. Jothar Sr. Jr. Phd. himself (of the mail variety, I suppose) stated he has nothing against anyone with a body. He’s just out to keep me (innocent kid) safe. He’s big enough to discern that I too have nothing against him.
ZeesKiteParticipantI’m afraid I can do neither. I’m not a newbie (am I?), I can’t offer sagacious advice. Me? I try to do what Hillel said, “What is hateful to you, don’t do to your friend.
ZeesKiteParticipantHow does one LOL quietly?
ZeesKiteParticipantBefore I start out driving I say the Pasuk “???? ??? ?????” so that cars shouldn’t bark at me.
ZeesKiteParticipantOK, So when is this big one going to hit the newsstands –
“Big Fish Caught”
The Big Fish has been caught just as he was attempting to flee Coffee Room. Airline officials say he already was on the plane when they realized He was the one they were after. They hurriedly whisked him to a secure location. He was searched and was found in possession of multiple screen names, which carry a maximum sentence of 5 years. A quick investigation revealed a positive DNA match to posts he’d been emitting throughout the years.
Aliza A, 31, who refused to give us her first name, said “WOW!” S. Gonzalez, 28, a neighbor who refused to give his last name, said he always thought Big Fish to be a nice neighbor.
Federal and Local YW officials hope to announce the indictment shortly.
ZeesKiteParticipantFYI
There’s a special MOD course in college with a very intense training program. I started out in one but gave up after a month, too much pressure, learning. So instead I signed up for a degree in flight control & brain surgery. Ah! So much easier. I admire the MODs. One who completed the course with a degree – that is an accomplishment.
ZeesKiteParticipantOh, I forgot, 80 mentioned something to the effect that there’s a Brooklyn in Baltimore, correct?
ZeesKiteParticipantNo, my friends, I’m referring to the sound constantly emitting from Brooklyn South. (Jothar, I just blew it, if you see someone going crazy from all the beeping in Brooklyn South, that’s your local ZeesKite!)
ZeesKiteParticipantNo one?
ZeesKiteParticipantHey! Why is everyone sleeping. Oh. It’s nighttime. Shhh. I’m sorry. I’ll post more quieter next time.
