Why they go off the ‘derech’? Sometimes to stop and ask for directions.

So as we were saying before…

When one feels the utter emptiness of the outside world as apposed to the feeling of a safe sheltered kedushah life in the cocoon of Yeshiva. Take a peek at the happiness, Kesusha, contentment radiating from the faces of the Gedolim just passed!

Once again, women are Mechuyav in ALL mitzvhos be it obvious or not, external or not. They’re exempt , as all know, from “mitzvos assay shehazman gerama”, time-dependent positive commandments, internal or external, obvious or not. That is THE SOLE difference.

I’ve been reading about this “hidden/private mitzvohs” thing here time and again, it’s just nonsense. (or someone’s erroneous ‘internal’ whim)

snjn: I wouldn’t call mitzvohs ‘external’. No, they’re what in fact makes us Jewish. Remember where we became Jews? Yeah, the place we said ???? ?????. Where HaShem said ???? ?? ???? ????? ?????. That was when HaShem “flashed us His news”.

Furthermore, a bit of reading Chazal indeed reveal to us that it’s as I wrote.

This topic was a ‘troll’ not to demean any gender. The OP could be a woman for all I know.

    oomis:

OK back to square one (that’s what 42 intended). So according to your (???) logic, goyim are more Jewish then Jews. They don’t need the mitzvohs that Jews do! Yisraelim are more holy than Kohanim, they don’t require those additional ‘reminders’…

Let me try to reiterate (again..)

The little Chazal I’ve come across CLEARLY state the opposite. A person’s Jewishness (halachakly) is evaluated by his/her Mitzvah OBLIGATION status. In the order a man says birchas hashachar. (goy, eved isha) – indeed that is the REASON for those brochos. A (real) Jewish woman, feeling a longing for this loss, submits her longing to HaShem’s decision, and says Sheasani Kirtzono. Any other attempt to misinterpret, misconstrue its real meaning is just that.

In my humblest opinion, it’s a natural thought process that occurs after a beloved passes. It should get back to normal.

Iv’e heard once, there’s a Chazal (somewhere) saying ????? ?? ??? ?????, which seems to indicate that it’s useful, indeed healthy to have some ‘morbid’ thoughts, theses should be only as a last defense, when all else (mentioned there) failed. It is sometimes too destructive a force. If it gets in the way of Avodas HaShem, help should be sought.

    Now to the pros….

One more comment, if I may. I may have written about this before. It’s about the concept that speech defines the person. One who puts a conscious effort at refining his/her speech, will end up a more refined, better person. So it really goes both ways. Speech is the outcome (mirror) of a person’s character straits, and a person’s middos, character are the outcome of his/her speech.

“You know” so much. There’s one thing however, you don’t know. The people here, members of the CR, don’t act out AT ALL as you’ve described. “I know” (as you phrased it) the people here. The are extremely nice, kind, tolerating, considerate and pleasant to be around with. So I don’t “chap” why you posted that here. (The ones to whom it is directed don’t log on here)

No, NO. DON’T REPEAT IT! Thank HaShem you’re still sensitive to it. How many of us have ‘downgraded’, desensitized to the dirt, filth and sewage from the street. Keep it up. DO BECOME SICK OVER IT!! That’s just re-confirming that you’re still a ben/bas Melech! You haven’t lost your grandeur despite your surrounding! That is something to admire!!

What to say to this individual? “Es Past nisht”. It’s not becoming of an orthodox Jew to express himself in such a lowly manner.

Rav Popa: I humbly beg to differ with you in two points. #1-One shouldn’t be machria the words of a Godol, I think. #2-It is a basic concept to the Torah & Torah-true Jews, the issue of ??? ????? ????? ?????? ??? ????? ??? ????? ????, not just a hidur or “nice” thing. It’s the language that keeps us apart, ???????? ??? ???????, it’s indeed our very essence – ??? ???? ?? ?????. It would be advisable to start at the youngest age possible. Reb Yaakov Ztz”l was obviously not referring to speech refinement.

Avraham in XX (now unlawful to specify!)

I don’t have ANYTHING against him or anyone. After all he’s Big Brother, trying to keep us children safe. Just a bit fun. OK? Have any other topics? It’s been DEAD here since I returned. Grand Chief Dr. Jothar Sr. Jr. Phd. himself (of the mail variety, I suppose) stated he has nothing against anyone with a body. He’s just out to keep me (innocent kid) safe. He’s big enough to discern that I too have nothing against him.

OK, So when is this big one going to hit the newsstands –

    “Big Fish Caught”

The Big Fish has been caught just as he was attempting to flee Coffee Room. Airline officials say he already was on the plane when they realized He was the one they were after. They hurriedly whisked him to a secure location. He was searched and was found in possession of multiple screen names, which carry a maximum sentence of 5 years. A quick investigation revealed a positive DNA match to posts he’d been emitting throughout the years.

Aliza A, 31, who refused to give us her first name, said “WOW!” S. Gonzalez, 28, a neighbor who refused to give his last name, said he always thought Big Fish to be a nice neighbor.

Federal and Local YW officials hope to announce the indictment shortly.

    FYI

There’s a special MOD course in college with a very intense training program. I started out in one but gave up after a month, too much pressure, learning. So instead I signed up for a degree in flight control & brain surgery. Ah! So much easier. I admire the MODs. One who completed the course with a degree – that is an accomplishment.
