ZeesKiteParticipant147:
I may be on my way out now, (too many, much too many suspicions) but your comment caught me.
Your question is a real valid one, in my humble opinion not phrased respectfully towards the Shivtei Kah.
Let me try to answer. In their opinion, when removing him from their midst, they were doing a Mitzvah. What it was – that’s discussed by varoius seforim. But their act was not a wild act of anger, violence, or the like. It was an act proceeded with calculation and decisiveness, in their minds and conscience it was the proper thing to do. So much so, that after they had him in a holding cell (pit) they made a seudah, similar to a seudas mitzvah. They ate with out any guilty conscience, because that was the right and proper action to take. Such was their assumption all those years.
Only when faced before Yosef, and having the full truth shown to them ever so clearly, did they realize the enormity of their error. That is why ?? ?????, an expression more to mean “shaken”. When the truth flew at their face, contrast to their thinking og twenty two years, they were shaken.
So yes, a mistake had been done. “Leitzonim & bad”? No. No evil intent.

ZeesKiteParticipant(let’s see if this goes through)
moi aussi:
I guess subtle, small ones go through, now.
The real ones (my blood screaming out) get trashed each time.
and Yes, there was never a shadow of doubt to high administration as to my innocence. Could not have been. Will not elaborate ??”?.
and No, I don’t seek revenge ?”? (as per my occupation, in profile), I want closure. (I am human)
ZeesKiteParticipantrabbiofberlin: “but this does not mean that every word, every utterance should be followed. That is idolatry.”
I may not be the most popular figure here these days (until some brave entity declares so), but we that the holy Tana, Rabban Gamliel, even when ousted, still joined in.
I beg to disagree. Every statement of a Talmid Chacham must be weighed, analysed, considered. ????? ???? ????? ?? ?”? ?????? ?????. And the concept of ????? ???? ?? ???? ???? ????.

Actually I think (maybe) a LOT worse. So much damage control and patching up for me to do..
I’m waiting (breathing sometimes) to see how Administration and Mods are gonna end this.
ZeesKiteParticipantOomis, Thank You!!!
You’re much too smart to get fooled.
ZeesKiteParticipant1) Clear my muddied name
2) Thank all closest for their kind words of support
3) Get back at (kidding)

ZeesKiteParticipantThank You
You don’t begin to fathom the Gihenom I’m going through.

ZeesKiteParticipantQuick. EVERYONE.
Join me.
ZeesKiteParticipantIf you keep attacking me, I’m gonna need a .. “Good psychiatrist”
What called me out on that was the derogatory tone used. I almost never mix into content. And, mind you, I wasn’t the only one to take issue with that.
ZeesKiteParticipantThank you Jewish Source.
Well put!!
ZeesKiteParticipantFinally!!
Long overdue.
ZeesKiteParticipantOOM, I’m not at all. As I wrote in the OP, let’s be honest. A lot responded that they’re doing it for pure intentions. I’m all for it!! As I responded.
I’m just against those that have an ax to grind. As I wrote.
ZeesKiteParticipantI’m not sure you want to vilify a community. L”H of a tzibur is a grave, severe sin. (Now you have to make a mass mailing begging mechila.. “Hello this is a recording on behalf of gavra_at_work, I beg your mechila, press 1 to be mochel..)
P.S. I don’t think the Vilna Gaon (my great(x5) grandfather) would condone this L”H and machlokes. He may have held a different view, certainly not this Great Divide.
ZeesKiteParticipantTo my observation, it seems the reverse is true. At least to me it seems that the Yeshivish Olam is always being attacked. (Could be wrong)
However I’m so against to mud slinging and bashing. How I wish it would stop.
ZeesKiteParticipantI “hear” you.
I feel for you more!!
I’m regrettably (fortunately, for everyone) not qualified to give you any advice, direction, support, I’m sure there are others here who can. There are plenty of anonymous support forums, I think.
I hope you are healing.
ZeesKiteParticipant“just my hapence”, I don’t try to be “rude and decidedly unzees”, even a teeny weeny bit. Except when it comes to defending the honor of HaShem, His Gedolim, and His Torah. The folks here know me, too. Ask ’em.
ZeesKiteParticipantWIY, I think that’s a he.
ZeesKiteParticipant“Although there is potential for humor here…”
Oooh, that got me thinking. <STAND BACK>
ZeesKiteParticipantI don’t get it “just my hapence”, what’s so not sweet about my question. All I asked is why someone here is offered a Size Ten beating.
ZeesKiteParticipantI suggest a subtitle to you, Oomis: “The Voice of Reason”.
While I’m (obviously) more to the Yeshivish/Chasidish, I enjoy your thoughts / opinions immensely. Always in a considerate, refined, respectful manner, never flying off the handle. It’s so interesting, insightful to see how you respond to delicate issues.
With many more considerate, understanding people like you, the world would stand a better chance.
ZeesKiteParticipantSure, make it smaller (lower), don’t leave out too much on top.
ZeesKiteParticipantIf that is your (and everyone else’s) true intention, then I have no issue at all. Count me in!!
ZeesKiteParticipantImagine a party longer than Achashverosh, this one’s going already for three years!!
ZeesKiteParticipantParty? ANYTIME!!!
ZeesKiteParticipantMod007 – in my humblekite, I thought a Mod should be slightly more moderate.
ZeesKiteParticipantToday would definitely be a good day!
ZeesKiteParticipantI’m about to use it.
Wait. Not yet.
ZeesKiteParticipantReally “Old Foolish King”, that’s the name Sholom Hamelech gave to an entity known to cause people to scoff at the Torah, it’s laws and customs, it’s people. How appropriate for this time of Chanuka ???? ??? ????? ??????.
I’m not poskenig on anything (I haven’t any semicha, OBVIOUSLY), that’s just not know a Yiddishe “Jew” talks. Must be from one of those…
ZeesKiteParticipantIt could be the Jews who were killed r”l were also silenced. Maybe. What does that have to do with my sillinesses?
December 12, 2012 4:06 am at 4:06 am in reply to: Throwing bleach at R' Nuchem Rosenberg to achieve justice? #912384ZeesKiteParticipantNo, Chalila & co. I’m chalila not advocating anything. I just don’t get it why they feel the need to hash and mash and rehash and remash over and over here. Beating up Jews is not something I do or you should either. Neither is abuse. Why the need to continue to gloat over and over and agian and again all fallacies of Jews here. There is a Justice system. Beis Din too. Let ’em fight it out there, not here. As an aside, does anyone who was chalila abused get satisfaction of having details announced and broadcast over and over again? Is every chazara another enjoyment?
December 12, 2012 12:00 am at 12:00 am in reply to: Throwing bleach at R' Nuchem Rosenberg to achieve justice? #912374ZeesKiteParticipantChalila, I didn’t do it. I’m telling you. Neither did anyone here. So what’s your point?
December 11, 2012 5:13 pm at 5:13 pm in reply to: Why Hasn't YWN Reported The Webberman Trial? #912220ZeesKiteParticipantI guess the zealots (some even shed their “mdernity”, they become hot ultra-orthodox) here are doing the job reporting and hashing over each and every ugly detail . So that’s why the YWN doesn’t have to.
Some people just cannot get it into their heads. As I wrote on another thread, it’s important, very important to know what to do, what to be aware of, how to protect oneself. How to detect, prevent. Shouldn’t guidelines, in some language suitable for all, be disseminated among Acheinu Bnei Yisroel about it?
Instead, people here, (especially ones out for the Orthodox’s blood) continue to mire, hash and mash in all this gory and filth. “Sure, very important to publicize” – like I’m going to be his chavrusa. C’mon. And here’s this one with the endless loop “But he’s a rasha…(yada), but he’s..” Mazel Tov. Maybe he is, maybe not, (as I wrote on that other thread, to their misfortune the didn’t pick me for a Dayan or judge). The ugly details of this nature has no business in the YWN or in any upstanding upright Torah-true household.
I believe baalei Mussar say the reason why “Miklat” was written on all roadways in Eretz Yisroel and not “Yerushalaim” for ???? ????, is because the Torah doesn’t want “murder” to be on people’s every-day talk. “Which way to the Miklat”, “Why, are you running, what happened?” “Killed someone accidently”. “Look, that man killed…” So the Torah says put up a sign and do things quietly. It’s not a thing to be on everyone’s tongue. In contrast to one doing a mitzvah of aliya lregel, aderaba, let everyone talk about him.
Same here. What has to be done, what can be done, should be done. Quietly. Delicately. These are delicate issues to a true Ben Yisroel. We don’t send our young to ***-ed, for a reason. We’re an aidele nation to G-d.
December 11, 2012 6:21 am at 6:21 am in reply to: Why Hasn't YWN Reported The Webberman Trial? #912188ZeesKiteParticipantThere’s a giant difference between ???? ???? and stam rubbish. Can’t you understand?
(Mods, do I get komish?)
ZeesKiteParticipantTherapist
If you’d be truly open-minded, you’d understand what’s bothering the majority of Torah Jews. You have to be open-minded enough to sense the inherent tuma in that style, genre or whatever. You’ve never hear of any Rav speak against it? Really? Are you really open-minded?
btw, hilchos lashon hora permits (even exaggerating), if I recall correctly. Someone who has a bad influence may be spoken about. Correct me if I’m wrong.
December 11, 2012 5:11 am at 5:11 am in reply to: Why Hasn't YWN Reported The Webberman Trial? #912184ZeesKiteParticipantMaybe there’s one site left in the world wide that doesn’t glorify everyone’s curiosity with all disgusting, gory and filthy intimate details that are wont to come out from the nature of such a trial.
I applaud this site, its administrator(s) and staff (especially overworked Mods who have to deal with my ‘literature’ – ha, I just added another), for keeping the air relatively clean, suitable for a Torah oriented (fun seeking) lifestyle.
So naturally they filter what’s newsworthy to this Hallowed site. No. Words of such a nature should not be commonplace, should not be the the topic of discussion in a Torah home. ???? ?’ ?? ???? because of ?? ???? ???? ????, we have different topics of discussions.
(Chief Mod, isn’t that the reason?)
December 11, 2012 3:46 am at 3:46 am in reply to: Yasher Koach to Rabbi Horowitz of Project Yes, for protecting and not punishing #912550ZeesKiteParticipantI’m not following this case (I usually do, I must know of all details, rulings, proceeding etc. I am an overpriced unlawyer, illegal expert). From what I read here (and the snippets I get on another site) I gather that not too much yiras shamayim can be attained while getting drilled over and over with these intimate shameful details. After a while they seep inside, not too healthy. So you’ll have to excuse my lack of a very valuable important comment on this. If I’d be a Rav, judge or the like, I’d have to listen to all this shutz, being that they’re smart enough to keep me out (to their misfortune), I don’t think I should be peeking and poking at disgusting intricate, intimate details.
I personally think a better service to K’lal Yisroel would be to formulate and issue some sort of hand book or guidelines how to prevent such incidents. It should be in some language suitable for all. I think many would benefit from such a publication, more than from just miring in this case’s filth.
ZeesKiteParticipantReady Now, if someone got off the CR (r”l) how would they read your comments?
ZeesKiteParticipantDoes anyone know what ‘Acher’ used to hum?
ZeesKiteParticipantWe all know that. But as a site representing the Yeshiva World, they have Torah standards to live up to, no one’s own respect-value algorithm. Just because Modernity respects one set of standards doesn’t mean a Torah Jew should. There is a set of conducts handed down to us from Sinai – Pirkei Avos, we derive our morals from there exclusively, not from the ‘gemutliche’ world. Modern people care only about the external ‘do unto you brother etc.’, ‘mentch’, ‘tzdaka’ etc. moving all else to the back-burner. Yidden have HaShem in mind. Constantly. We do His mitzvohs for Him. Bein Adam l’Makom. Bein adam l’chaveiro too – because that’s HaShem’s will, not for ‘gemutlichkeit’.
ZeesKiteParticipantWe know that story. It’s not because he slapped him. It’s because he didn’t believe him. He wrote so himself. He says a Rebbe must be able to discern the truth. Read it.
ZeesKiteParticipantI’m glad at least Torah True leaders have thought it important enough. They’re concerned enough about the YID, the kedushas Yisroel, as they are about bein adam lachavero. All through the generations, our TRUE Gedolim were like that. ???? ??????? is not just something hypercritical to them. So they care about anything (however minor on your list) that’s contrary to our spiritual health.
