ZeesKiteParticipant
Yeah. That’s also a very nice tune. Actually a lot of his pieces are really beautiful.
ZeesKiteParticipantrabbiofberlin:
Actually not. Are you reiterating what one poster posted yesterday here something to the effect of “the Rabbis in Europe who were all for Shabbat and Kashrus were turned into soap”? Really? The One Who hallowed us with His commandments punishes us with a holocaust BECAUSE of keeping Shabbos and Kashrus. “jerei’m’ “ushleimim”, shomrei torah umitzvos were killed for following daas Torah? Right on! Had we joined IDF on the “blessed garden” we would still be alive.
For your information, what brought about the holocaust is explicitly stated in a sefer (Hebrew book), written many years before the war. I think the name of the sefer is Meshech Chochma. He forewarned that mingling with the gentiles would only bring a catastrophe (I think he actually used the word shoah) of tremendous proportions. He prophetically describes churban Europe vividly! Go see for yourself.
So no. It’s not the “jerei’m’ “ushleimim”, “shomrei torah umitzvos” who bring a holocaust. It’s those who proclaim ???? ??? ?????? and ??? ????? ???.
April 24, 2012 11:00 pm at 11:00 pm in reply to: Words from an ex IDF solider for Yom HaZikaron #1163052ZeesKiteParticipantOh Uh! Here comes another one..
(..a day when all the Jewish Nation joins together) Funny, I’ve not seen this in any siddur, Jewish sefer etc. In fact until a minute ago I didn’t even know of such an existence. I mean it.
(..when we strike back with our own army we sanctify..) Really? Where does that say? I thought one makes a Kiddush HaShem by acting decently with Midos Tovos and doing HaShem’s mitzvohs. Now of course one must defend himself, but making it a “kiddush HaShem”? Highly doubt it. Rashi says nothing about the honor part, just that one who stands up against Jews is as if he stands up against HaShem.
(..we finally have a little joy..) Actually not. Now, there are a lot of Yidden living in Eretz Yisroel, learning and doing mitzvhos, more now than ever before. But we’re still in Galus. Same as before. Actually a bit worse. Never before has there been such a mass scalse “bilbul hamoach”. Kedusha and tuma mixed and mashed together. A so-called “Medinat Yisroel” built upon foundations of secular anti-Torah and anti-HaShem r”l values and idealism. So the present state of affairs has nothing in common with what Torah true Jews are awaiting for. Sorry, not in the least any “etchalta degeulah”.
April 24, 2012 10:05 pm at 10:05 pm in reply to: who would you say is the most intelligent CR poster? #870201ZeesKiteParticipantOOMIS: No, she left. I think I’ll pick up where she left.. PEOPLE, RUN!!
ZeesKiteParticipantDon’t laugh. I was at a wedding years ago where the musician played beautifully the tune of the Teshuva song, one Middos Machine. It was truly stunning.
ZeesKiteParticipantMorah: If you were really “Rach”, you’d be more easy on him…
Oh, I forgot. CHEER UP.
ZeesKiteParticipantGutte Ehrliche Kinder… (also onions)
ZeesKiteParticipant(tears)
ZeesKiteParticipantCould I kindly stick in my little (pudgy) nose here?
I’m certainly not qualified to render any halachik decision. I will just state of one case of texting I know where it came to (let’s put it mildly – edited). Right, a frum looking (married) man texting to likewise opposite …
Let the reader decide…
ZeesKiteParticipantI don’t quite get it. Is your yom haatzmaut in crisis? What soes that have to do with the current crisis of crisis?
Also, pardon an ignorant soul, isn’t BH”B instituted because of the free mingling of the genders during Yom Tov?
ZeesKiteParticipantThe question of the Mishna is “Who” is Chacham.
ZeesKiteParticipantY.R.C.R. Random-Auto-Subtitler on the blink.
ZeesKiteParticipantImagine.. I wouldn’t have to go to the well each morning for a bucket of water..
Imagine.. In middle of the night I could just flick a switch and my entire environs become bathed in light..
Imagine.. I could talk to my friend from the next village without have to ride a whole day’s worth..
Imagine.. I could just sit down on some chair and find myself transported miles away in just mere minutes..
Imagine.. They came up with a computing device to sum a group of numbers.
Imagine.. Saving one’s voice on something for posterity.
ZeesKiteParticipantLoyal Jew: Since I don’t know your gender either, I cannot respond to you. (could we call that sfek sfaika?)
ZeesKiteParticipantOomis: The pros here know what they’re talking about. It is not for a woman (for all I know you have not yet even mastered Shas), to tell Talmedei Chachomim in a Torah argument to “Re-read the Torah”. They likely have read it numerous times although it’s irrelevant – we don’t pasken from the chumash, neither from the Mishna. Furthermore, emotions, feelings also play no role in Toras HaShem. These outstanding Torah Scholars are discussing Torah and Torah concepts here, Geonim Rishonim and Acharonim it’s not something I bud in to. When it comes to Torah discussions I bow out with humble awed reverence, I leave the floor to the pros, and look on from a respectful distance.
April 20, 2012 6:59 pm at 6:59 pm in reply to: who would you say is the most intelligent CR poster? #870175ZeesKiteParticipantSo I guess Oomis took that place
ZeesKiteParticipantShould I try again?
April 20, 2012 5:41 pm at 5:41 pm in reply to: who would you say is the most intelligent CR poster? #870173ZeesKiteParticipantNo. I really have nothing in common with intelligence. I just wanted to see how the main page looks with the question “who is the most intelligent poster”, and the answer in the next column ..(ZeesKite), if only for a few minutes. Until the next poster comes and claims that place.
ZeesKiteParticipantNOBODY EVEN NOTICED! I haven’t posted for a full hour!
ZeesKiteParticipantOK!
??? ??? ?????…
ZeesKiteParticipantIs this about a non-male having a non-female name, or maybe about a non-non-non-female having a non-guyish sounding name, or maybe about someone with a gender having a non-gender sounding name or maybe..(let me think some more)
April 20, 2012 1:22 am at 1:22 am in reply to: who would you say is the most intelligent CR poster? #870153ZeesKiteParticipant(second try) Count me out of this. Too many syllables.
Back to work-
Dan ran. See Dan run. Dan can run. Dan ran…
ZeesKiteParticipantCould someone on my lowly level kindly care to explain all this. I even ran this whole thread through my Auto-CR-Thread-Decoder, it returns a blank stare.
April 19, 2012 10:02 pm at 10:02 pm in reply to: who would you say is the most intelligent CR poster? #870142ZeesKiteParticipanta mamin: Me?!? Definitely NOT!
ZeesKiteParticipantNo. It just means you both have to fill up your post with content enough to match the size of your screen name plus sub-title. Otherwise it looks “empty”.
ZeesKiteParticipantwritersoul: Sounds scary. Something about me???
ZeesKiteParticipantit’s a touchy subject
ZeesKiteParticipantI think it’s like the rings on a tree. All the weight gained over Pesach, year after year, accumulate…
ZeesKiteParticipant“Give me friendship or give me death”
ZeesKiteParticipant.. or clicking on the bottom of a million page web-screen “I have read all the above (sure) and agree…
ZeesKiteParticipantHow could so many people talk about … nothing important?!?
ZeesKiteParticipantIs a woman’s posting considered Kol Isha. Isn’t it “talking”?
ZeesKiteParticipantOr maybe today?
ZeesKiteParticipantand btw I’m starting to get used to the idea of sleeping by night again…(in a bed)
ZeesKiteParticipanta mamin: I REALLY don’t understand how my not posting for one day (or less) makes such a big deal.
ZeesKiteParticipantGoq, Aries left, she had no patience for me (I don’t blame her, a lot of people don’t either). I really miss Eclipse’s pieces.
ZeesKiteParticipantWow! Wow!! WOW!!!
Wuzzat?
I’m right here. No, sorry I’m here now. For ??”? the next unforeseeable couple of minutes. I haven’t gone away, at all. Certainly not gone missing. That the choson of my friend’s daughter did. He got a good, fine Miss.
Anyways I just had nothing of importance to add to these weighty issues of the day (ie marriage, divorce, how to prevent them by wearing a helmet, Kol HaIsha Kulo…)
Besides, sometimes my moods just run out. Doesn’t everyone need recharging?
ZeesKiteParticipantcheftze: I think they’re like the Yidden; small but loudest. I think (maybe, could be) that’s why early ‘chasidim’ were called ‘???????’, their group was one of the first, the most outwardly fervent and loud.
ZeesKiteParticipantSyag: Got you. From now on – no complaining. “And that’s a campaign promise”
ZeesKiteParticipantYes, I’ll confess. At the time it was truly demanding, overwhelming. But I did try to put things into perspective. (at least afterwards)
One more thing, there was a huge difference of what I let out here, our good buddies on the CR, to that of what I displayed toward my family. I don’t think they got the picture of a ‘difficult time’ at all.
ZeesKiteParticipantMOD42, Mommy lets me go near them. (obviously, my computer isn’t running on kerosene)
ZeesKiteParticipantOK, guys. I’ll also confess. I’m not either new.
ZeesKiteParticipantAnd one more thing, I think is important. Too many people, I hear, associate stress and anxiety with this special Yom Tov. Their children pick up on these vibes and grow to c”v have a distaste for it. We try to put in simcha in our preparations, we make an effort to anticipate the Yom Tov with joy.
ZeesKiteParticipantOomis: I feel the same. Although I wasn’t up to your speed with preparations, I do too anticipate it WITH JOY. Yes, it IS hard work, but oh so REWARDING!!! The special mitzvohs, chinuch, tradition, family. Priceless!!! That’s why we thank HaShem for giving us his special Moadim.
ZeesKiteParticipantHealth: I assume you’re referring to me. And the answer is YES, of course. Mommy (the famous) found me out already. And Mommy told Tatty! (obviously, they talk to each other)
April 12, 2012 8:37 pm at 8:37 pm in reply to: Heter for Women Learning Torah in Beis Yaakov #867335ZeesKiteParticipantIs Mochoh a girl???
ZeesKiteParticipantI do have a sibling here too. Maybe Mommy (the famous) too!!!
ZeesKiteParticipantTo post here. (I forgot, that’s a pikuach nefesh)
April 12, 2012 3:48 am at 3:48 am in reply to: Heter for Women Learning Torah in Beis Yaakov #867325ZeesKiteParticipantMocho – what Torah are they learning that is not permitted. I don’t remember hearing any ‘sevoros’, ‘Abbaya & Rava’ etc.
ZeesKiteParticipantYummy, I know, when word gets out prematurely it puts some damper on the simcha. In this case it was no problem at all. It was only a half hour before, and I happen to be very close to the Chosson’s family!
MAZEL TOV, may we ALL share simchos!! May each one in need of a zivug or any other need rejoice in HaShem’s ‘yeshua’, especially at this opportune time of ????? ?????? ???????!!
