ZeesKiteParticipant
One (gentile) reporter asked this very question to Maran Rav Moshe Feinstein Zatza”l. He answered that if one askes a Rabbi a question and he’s satisfied with the answer, he’ll come back. When a lot of people are satisfied, more come back.
ZeesKiteParticipantYou’re referring to the Asifas haMods?
ZeesKiteParticipantSorry, this tread was started when the CR was, in fact, [closed]. Powered down. Maybe in SLEEP MODE. Maybe they were conducting an Emergency Contingency Strategy Drill (ECSD), maybe preparing for the next Zeeskite General Attack (ZGA). I don’t know, to be sure, but it certainly got ALL THE MODS involved, none of them were by the CR MODDING consoles (CMC).
ZeesKiteParticipantNOBODY is missing???
ZeesKiteParticipantFor that matter, where are all (or any) mods?
ZeesKiteParticipantbygirl, You’re still alive? I know, sometimes it gets hard to breathe, you must not give up. Here, let’s try together. Take a deep breath, and… (oops, you just did it)
(page 0.01 from my emt booklet)
ZeesKiteParticipantWhy not give him ????? ????? ??? for a sub-title?
Isn’t ???? ??? ??? ??? ???
ZeesKiteParticipantMoski – No, it’s one running amok (off the leash!)
ZeesKiteParticipant.. And anyone talking bad about America must go to the kevarim of R’ Gershon (George) Washington, R’ Avraham Lincoln, R’ Binyamin Franklin, etc. America was a safe haven for Jews…
ZeesKiteParticipantHealth: I think he is correct, (not EVERYONE in disagreement is a Megaleh Ponim B’torah Shelo K’halacha).
Even if one did Teshuva, what he saw remains and lingers on in one’s very being. (Did you just ‘forget’ every improper sight you was yesterday, last week?) No, there’s no QUICK ZAP IT button.
The famous story of how the Chofetz Chaim trembled at having an improperly clad woman near him. No, things like this are not so simple to be made away.
I’m not following the whole back and forth, it seems like Loyal Jew is implying that things ingrained and ingested through one’s eyes are there to stay, one must take extra caution. Others here cared to disagree and say that it’s like any other aveira, ???? ????? ??? ?????? ?????, tshuva will totally cleanse those sights and thoughts from one’s mind. Oh really?!? Get real! Yes, it can, after hard work, real hard work. Read up. There are organizations that deal with these issues. Lets put it mildly – ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE.
ZeesKiteParticipantItcheSrulik: Starting to get it. S l o w l y
ZeesKiteParticipantOh, so you were the… (kidding)
Sorry, really sorry for you’re experience. I found it the most lovely place. As I wrote sometime before, someone referred to it as the poor man’s Flatbush. Not BP, not Flatbush, just perfect. We all greet each other here, warmly.
ZeesKiteParticipantNo. I don’t know of anyone using the mouth for Lashon Hara. YOU’RE speaking lashon hara on K’lal Yisroel (actually motzei shem ra). As the gemara (somewhere, I’m told) retorts ??? ????? ?????? (for those that cannot read this Hebrew – ‘hakol blashon hara salka da’atach?!?) No one speaks Lashon Hara!
ZeesKiteParticipantNo, the day I moved in (everyone elee moved out)
ZeesKiteParticipantThere’s only room for one at a time. It was occupied. (I forgot by whom)
ZeesKiteParticipantCould someone kindly explain what this “Yom Yerushalaim” is. It sounds as if it’s some sort of chag – “Yom Yerushalaim”. How about Yom Kensington? Yom Boro Park?
ZeesKiteParticipantI don’t ALWAYS have good taste. A lot of posters here can agree to that.
Kidding aside, if it’s that offending, by all means burn it.
Done.
ZeesKiteParticipantMODS: Anything wrong with my revised edition?
I did not delete it, I left it for another MOD to decide. Personally I found it in poor taste and was surprised it was from you.
ZeesKiteParticipantSam2, I’m sorry I didn’t hear of an opposing veiw of Gedolei Torah who proclaimed going to the event was assur, no problem whatsoever with the internet, look where you want, do what you want etc. I thought the 500+ Gedolim in attendance were a unanimous voice. Sorry I didn’t go to Korach’s 200,000,000,000 strong demonstration, opposing Klal Yisroel’s attempt at preserving it’s Kedusha.
ZeesKiteParticipantFurthermore, Syag, why does it always rub you when I mention any zecher, any visage of Kedusha, Mitzvohs, HaShem? What irks you so much? Isn’t that what being a Jew is supposed to be?
For heaven’s sake, this IS the Yeshiva World, where else should I run. ????? ???? ?????, not to run away!
ZeesKiteParticipantSyag Lchochma:
Excuse me, is there anything I wrote that was offensive to you? MY self righteousness? MY views?!? These individuals are mocking / spiting the very Gedolei Torah we so cherish. We – the majority of Torah Jews. The ones who willingly came to be guided, strengthened, inspired.
And I thought this was the Yeshiva World, where Torah and Torah ideals rule supreme. I used to frequent another site, until I found that one very lacking in major Torah hashkafa issues. So I found this one, blessfully moderated, with a Torah mindset, Torah and Gedolei Torah in strict reverence.
Must I leave this one too?
ZeesKiteParticipantI’m sorry people, please don’t get the assumption I had anything AT ALL to do with this greatest Asifas Chizuk. (I wish I had some hand, something, to be ???? ???? ????? ?????, I think they got along quite well without cute little me.)
Those were just some of my humble thoughts.
I’m sorry it’s not bringing out the best in all of. I waited to comment until now, as I wrote earlier, I didn’t want to be the cause of breaking the spell it had. I did not want to be an ????, to be cause to be the first to laugh it off (in public, no less). Unfortunately I was wrong.
It seem that the voice of Torah true views is dwindling here, due to.. the Asifa.
So…
ZeesKiteParticipantZD, Sorry, make that 49,993.6+
ZeesKiteParticipantI thank you for your information. Sorry I did not acknowledge earlier.
ZeesKiteParticipantDear Popa bar Abby,
I can’t think of anything to ask. Help me.
ZeesKiteParticipantAre you from the Northeast!? Don’t know about you, if mine had not been working… (I’d not be able to keep my cool).
BRAVO!
ZeesKiteParticipantOK, All you serious people. If I must. This question was in jest (oh really).
Actually, the more a person learns, the more he wants. So by learning before Shavuos, he’ll have a bigger urge, zest to learn on Shavous. LTA’AVON!!
ZeesKiteParticipantSam: Seems you lost your duck, ??? ??????
“..outside the Sukkah on Erev Pesach..”?!
ZeesKiteParticipantCome to think of it, does anyone know what color a black hat is?
ZeesKiteParticipantLet me try:
Parenthesis, (I thought) are there for a reason. Same for imagination.
Never heard of “a girl in my class’s friend”?
ZeesKiteParticipantCome to think of it, where is the fun? My CR radar antennas are picking up a faint tickle, somewhere in the far northwestsoutheastern area..
Keep you posted…

ZeesKiteParticipantRAIN ?!?!
That’s the one of the BEST blessings HaShem send us. How much of our lives depend on it. How the whole world depends on it. Read wheat Rabbi Miller ??”? says about this topic.
In my opinion, the dreariness and gloominess of the rainy days is only that on days when we’re not so blessed, we should at least be consoled, uplifted with the contrast of a cheery sunshine.
ZeesKiteParticipantHaLeiVi:
There won’t be wiring in the walls. Outlets will be powered wirelessly.
ZeesKiteParticipantIf need be, I could. I know a drop of English. Is there a number to call?
ZeesKiteParticipantSeriously speaking, there’s a tefilla some say on Yomim Noraim, just as the Chazzan says ????? ??????. I haven’t it in front of me, but I do recall the preface with some earlier source – ??? ?? ????? ?????.. It’s referring to subjects discussed at the Asifa.
ZeesKiteParticipantWhat will make Moshiach come? The little kinderlach..
ZeesKiteParticipantHurray!!!
From now on it’s only the Coffee Room!! (where WE make the news, we sure do!)
ZeesKiteParticipantSyag: Contrary to popular belief, I too have feelings. Sometimes more sometimes less. I too get moody (understatement). Sometimes depxxxxed too. So sometimes things hurt me a lot more than other times. If I’m down and someone chooses to sling a good one at me (not that I don’t deserve it), it may knock me down hard. So no, no one should really resort to name calling etc. I hope, sincerely hope I have not done the same. If I did, if anyone was hurt or slighted through me, I humbly beg forgiveness.
In this case however it just happens to be I was not so put down. Why? Don’t know. Maybe I told myself (I talk to myself) to let it pass. Maybe I said let the stab be a kapara. Maybe I thought that he’s a big Talmid Chacham, and it’s his Torah that’s boiling in him. ??????? ??? ????. Don’t know. I just somehow let it pass.
And about the debate itself, I just have no wish to continue, not that I concede at all. In fact HaLeiVi started a thread on this same topic – showing the true meaning of the sources, corroborating my stance (it’s not my own, obviously, it’s from the books I come in contact with). In fact I have many other sources and references that HaLeiVi didn’t mention. It’s just that at some point (where no chilul HaShem or bezayon Torah or Talmid Chacham is involved), arguing and debating further serves no point.
Now, where’s the <BACK TO THE FUN> button?
ZeesKiteParticipantHow should I know?
ZeesKiteParticipantHi, CA.
No. It’s not that at all that kept me away for some time. Iv’e taken a bigger, much bigger beating in the past. One that really sent me reeling (bawling). Still, I came back. I learnt (and still continue to learn) how to communicate, interact etc. (hence ‘Midos under construction’)
It’s just that lately with this awareness of internet dangers (and accessories), I’d like to wait, to decide what to do. On one hand, while I don’t know if anyone appreciates (or puts up with) my input over here, I certainly enjoy it (oh, really). It gives me feeling of togetherness, camaraderie, friendship. Learning different subject, debating, discussing. Watching human interactions, different personalities as they engage in open (and closed) dialog. Real fun, interesting. Then there’s maybe a bit of humor someone (or humble me) puts in, to brighten the day, a sunshine for us to smile at. ???? ?????? ??????. Also I maybe, could be, honed some writing skills (thank you chrome auto-spell-checker), Mommy would be proud of.
On the other hand, maybe it’s not the right thing. Too much online, (must I say the word ‘addiction’?) Maybe it’s bitul zman, although any shmoozing would be considered so.
So I’m a bit confused. I wanted to wait, to see when the dust settles, how ‘Klal Yisroel’ would react. Right now most people I see are still ‘under the influence’, under the spell of the ruach of the Gedolim’s asifa. It’s too hard to see where it’s heading to. Are all non-business related going to be banned? Is that ??? ?????? ?????? ?????? (I could argue that it’s business related because YW – our gracious host – maybe gets some business through our posts, some would call that a stomach thought.) How much permitted, prohibited.
I didn’t want to be the ??, the scoffer who undoes the ‘hundred admonishments’, one of those who ????? ???? writes ??? ?? ??? ????? ???. I certainly do not want in the least to break the powerful effect, spell the Gedolim, the great Asifa itself, cast over the public.
ZeesKiteParticipant“..living in.. or the cemetery..” How does one do that?
ZeesKiteParticipantI didn’t think it’s a wise thing to proclaim out and in the open so boldly. Wait at least until after the Asifa.
???? ??? ??? ????? ????
It borders on chilul HaShem.
ZeesKiteParticipantYeah, I see the problem. It took you a full day to get the above post.
ZeesKiteParticipant1) “Why do these Americans” – which ones?
2) “..how to spell what’s with the..” – education in spelling goes with punctuation.
3) Wong is a Japanese word. They were not in the least trying to illiterate the word wrong.
4) “I’m not married to an American for this reason!” – That seems to be a good reason why to decide on whom to marry. By the way, does the one you’re married to spell English better?
ZeesKiteParticipantMod 42: Could you change your subtitle to “Accidentally Married”
ZeesKiteParticipantDeep thought – I guess that’s for me!
ZeesKiteParticipantKapusta:
To that I retort “Is that a threat?”
ZeesKiteParticipantZeesKiteParticipantShticky: There is an algorithm (maybe) to reveal the gender, age, IQ and social status, based on the frequency and types of phrases (ab)used.
