Did you smile at any of mine or anyone else’s posts or rant? A smile is contagious – it carries on. You do things differently afterwards. ???? ?????? ??????, I think means someone who makes another smile, gladdens another human person, has done something virtuous.

I also practice humbleness here, my screen name comes without a title – plain ZeesKite.
And let’s say(!) I post something, would you hear it? My keyboard doesn’t even click, I post EVERYTHING in silence.
I find Popa’s pieces to be FULL of wit. Pointed. Sharp. Sometimes one must read it over a few times until it sinks in. Other times it gets too intelligent, too Talmudical, Halachical, things fly right over my small head.
He also has a unique way of getting a point across.
This is surely one to keep out of.

We’re all rooting for you. You’re placed at this unique challenge, because HaShem knows you will be able to handle it. Again, go to that site, the section that deals with your specific issue. I believe they can email him (anonymously) a starter message, something that can pull him in. They have experience. They do. Again, it’s all L’shem Mitzvah!
When these issues involve a spouse it can get painful. Rightfully so. That’s where ???? ???? plays a role. Go to that site. They’ll guide you, ever so compassionately and caring. They’ll provide you with an abundance of support, much more than silly me has to offer.

OK. Let me come out clear for all.
The reason I kept away from this thread in the past, is as stated before, I didn’t want to ?? ????? leave any negative effect on the most serious issue. Something similar to ??? ?????? ?????? ???? ????? or whatever. The ?????? of diminishing the seriousness of this issue is something I do not take lightly.
Now it seems like there are people willing blatantly, purposefuly blind to the facts known and expressed at length, over and over. I think Dass Yochid has done a terrific job with her/his peices, in installments. ?????? ???? ???, truth shines through, even though people “fight tooth and nail” to try to cover it up. I suppose “the truth hurts”. Yes it does. But a smart person begs HaShem as (I think) Rabbi Wachsman said – let the tears (hurt) wipe off any unclean image. ?????? ??? ???? ???? ??????? ?????? ??? ???. It takes a certain amount of courage to earnestly, honestly recognize the situation, commit to change.
If you said long tachanun today because you felt it like Monday, I think you should say (long) tachanun again.

To you Boobie – I hope you read those articles I noted. As one of my jobs/projects/hobbies, I deal with a lot of recorded shiurim, men/women. This issue was definitely a biggie. Anyways, listening to PART of some speeches made me shudder. Bad. Really BAD. I can not imagine what you’re going through. ???? ???? ???? ????, with chochma, tifillah, and outside help you should pull through.
jbaldy22, I suggest you read up. Yes, there are organizations and sites that deal with “internet addiction”.
And DY, just because I didn’t second you on ALL YOUR brilliant pieces and responses, doesn’t mean I’m not with you on all accounts. It’s just that I thought it’s better if I keep my (silly) presence away from this most important, serious thread.

Boobie: There are wonderful organizations out there that do fantastic work. I’d suggest you check out Guard Your Eyes site – spouse support. It’s all anonymous, they do it all L’shem Shamayim, to help out Yidden.

Sometimes one has to be assertive, especially in matters that affect one’s entire future life. To the shadchan in question, it’s just another number, to you it’s your life.
Why don’t you try what I probably would; ask the shadchan how to say no to him/her without sounding so bad.
DY, I’m just reading all (ok not every one) of your posts. Are they your’s? I think they’re really fantastic, really thought provoking. Do you work for any of the organizers? I think you’d be a great asset to any such organization.
OK. I don’t know how to say (type) this, but sometimes I get slightly distracted (busy). Especially this time of year when Klal Yisroel (and others too) go (oh so willingly) to Galus. So I have to run a long wireless (filtered, of course) cable from my regular residence to my vacationing laboratory – to connect to central CR headquarters. So we’re finally “hooked up”. (I was actually long ago!)
.. And that is exactly what I once heard about Torah being compared to water. One has to feel thirsty for it in order to make a Brocha on the Torah. “Because they didn’t make a Brocha on the Torah” – refers to this point.
Hate to sound too sublime, it’s something I once heard (nothing at all to do with me).
