In America the gedolim dont get invovled in politics as much as they do in Israel, so they are also more political leaders in Israel and in America they are mostly religous leaders

Yiddish Newpapers are generally weeklies not dalies.

The Main ones are Der Yid and Der Tsitung which are Chassidish newpapers and the Forvitz which is secular socialist newspaper

In NY the Chassidic population (The non-jews do not distinguish between various charedi groups and lump them all as “Chassidim”) is considered a major part of the NYC masoic

At least 2 of the players were brought up as catholics (They are Halachic jews) and because of the WBC have decided to look into their jewish roots. If the team can reclaim a lost jew, It will be worth it.

The reason we sell the Chametz is not because of a box of cheerios, but rather a bottle of Johnny Walker blue. People will throw out the bottle of Cheerios, but people did not spill out the bottle of Johnny Walker blue so they had to do something to prevent people from being over a “lav since they would not spill out the Johnny Walker Blue

Sometimes if you quote from a torah website the mods let it though. You can always quote from Hebrew Books. I am just not sure if they consider the OU to be a torah website or not

The Chazon ish Portion is about 3/4 of a hand Made Shmurah Matza, it is not a small amout of food.

I think the Rav moshe size which is what many schools give out is about 1/2 a matzah.

marror too, you have to eat a certain amount. I think its about 5 stalks of lettuce for a Kezayis

You are supposed to eat a Kezayis of matzah in a certain amount of time otherwise you are not Yotzei

There is a debate exactly how much a Kezays is and how long it takes to eat it. The Chazon ish was famous for larger portions than other opinions

The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising started on April 19, 1943 which was chosen because it was Hitlers birthday, which the Nazis considered a special holiday and in fact a jew was not allowed to even have this birthday and those who did were forced to change it.

Of course the Hebrew date changes every year, but its very appropirate to commemorate the Holocaust on the day which Hitler YM was born and was a special holiday in Nazi Germany

As I was walking home from Shul on Shabbos about a month ago, Someone decided to park their car in the middle of the cross walk blocking the ability to walk normally.

As I had to really walk around this car , this woman in the car started yelling at me how hitler did not complete the job. So I yelled back. I will not stand for someone telling that to me
