Two of my brothers went there and I have one who is currently learning there. They all enjoyed/enjoy it from what I see and from what I hear. If you want your son to get lost and to not have a Rebbi, then this is not the right place. It’s very small and warm and the secular studies are good for a right-wing yeshiva. For 12th grade, the boys switch to yesodei yeshurun. The transition from yisroel to yeshurun was very good for both my brothers and they are both beasting it in the Bais and still normal people. I dont know if they’d be the same had they started off in yeshurun, only G-d knows. Basically, it’s worth it to go over there and check it out.
I hope I was helpful. Good luck with everything.
