Steak, brisket, turkey.
Most important: dessert.
yw613ParticipantThat’s an idea: if the shadchan charges an exorbitant amount from the onset, the parties will be more pressed to take the shidduch offers, that the shadchan had spent hours on, more seriously. Instead of being so quick to reject a shidduch, the two sides may consider going on another date to get their money’s worth out of the shidduch. Perhaps the shadchan should charge per shidduch offer.
yw613ParticipantAny more?
yw613ParticipantKerry presented three options for Israel: two-state solution, one-state solution and democratic, or one-state solution and Jewish. The problem is that he, along with the rest of the world, would never accept Israel being Jewish and not democratic in a one-state solution realm. That is because to be Jewish in a one-state solution would be to either remove the Arabs, or deny them the right to vote. To Kerry, there are really only two options: two state solution or one state solution that is democratic.
yw613ParticipantTwo Jews = three opinions, so even if we were all Torah Jews, there would be many instances of eilu v’eilu divrei Elokim Chaim. If there were only one authoritative Torah leader which the entire klal Yisrael would accept, then any issue may just be resolved with him. The problem is that every sector has its own leader and is unwilling to accept eilu v’eilu.
yw613ParticipantThe Muslims also wake up around 5:00 AM (Neitz time) to pray, and some Yidden can not even get to shul on-time, which is at a later time.
