Let’s keep in mind the soldiers and citizens in Eretz Yisroel as we light candles, doven, say tehillim and learn this Shabbos.

OK OK you want the “joke” here it is. I took the liberty of removing the improper reference and replaced it with a more appropriate term. This is a one time special E’Shabbos deal. Please do not ask what the replacement term replaced, YW Moderator-72
and the joke is
a man answered his door only to be confronted by a young, well dressed man carrying a vacuum cleaner. “good day sir”, said the young man “if i can take a couple of minutes of your time, i would like to demonstrate the very latest vacuum cleaner”
“go away, i have no money” and the man of the house as he proceeded to close the door.
quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot into the door and pushed it opened. “dont be so hasty!” he said “not untill u have seen my demonstration” and with the he poured a bucket of dirt onto the carpet. “if this vacuum cleaner does not remove every trace of the dirt, i will personally eat the remainder.”
the man of the house stepped back and said “well i hope u have a great appetite because they cut of my electricity this morning!! what part of no money did you not understand??
Mod 55, was that you by the pickle barrel with your sleeve rolled up and your arm stuck in past your elbow fishing aroung for a good pickle from the bottom of the barrel?
btw, I think I saw “86” in the store. there was one guy (with a mustache) hanging out in the greeting card section wearing a trench coat, black hat and sun glasses… hmmm
Ok – I went Shabbos Shopping and not one person came over to say hello. :o( there was one person kind of baldish with a little wisp of hair wearing a shirt with a zigzag stripe across the midsection who kept sneaking looks into my cart otherwise no one came over.

those who want to meet, I’ll be Shabbos shopping early this afternoon. I’ll be the one with the black hat, beard and peyos pushing a cart with such things in it as soup vegetables, chulent mix, chicken… oh and instant coffee and 2% milk I am running low – you will not find sugar in my wagon.

rest assured that you are not the only one being edited / deleted. all posts go through moderation – there are NO automatics. there are posters that have never met the delete or edit button and yet we continue to read all their posts.
don’t be offended, keep posting and don’t worry if some of your posts do not make it into the thread either as submitted or in an edited version. btw If you were to start a thread about who is upset with mod72, it would probably break all records.
I’ll let you in on a little secret: way back in time, when I first started posting on the main page (long before the coffee room) I also had posts moderated out – one time I even had the editor call me out on one of my posts (no, I am not going to say what it was about). let me just say that my “facts” were in fact not facts.

I added an 8th comment. perhaps more to follow.
The posters that (not necessarily in order of importance:
1) are clear in what they want to say (not concerned about spelling)
2) do not try to slip in double meanings
3) understand that this site is called The Yeshiva World and use appropriate expressions
4) send emails ONLY when necessary and are respectful in their tone
5) does not submit a post and follow it with nu… where is it already
6) use caps appropriately
7) don’t keep pointing out the Noderstors spelling errors (had to put in one joke)
8) Do not ask what was wrong with their deleted posts
9) do not ask us to go back to one of their deleted posts and fix it for publication.
10) understand what is typed is not always what is read (tone)

moish01. trust me, you are not the first nor will you be the last to get a post moderated – meaning either edited or deleted. ask your cousin I’m sure she can tell you about posts of hers that get moderated. trust me, nobody is immune to moderatoration.
btw, I did a lookup when I saw all the posts about you and brooklyn19 being cousins. where did you say you live?
Curious – where is the birthday cake? And don’t forget the coffee…

the short answer is that there is no real difference.
The practical answer is:
the spreadsheet that was set up by mdlevine has multipe columns so that if someone signed up for a kapital and somebody else also wanted to signup for the same kapital, they would put there name in the next column (or round). Right now YWN has 100% of the sefer Tehillim committed to be said daily in column 1 and if memory serves correctly we are about 1/3 of the way to completing it twice daily.
forward the link to this thread to your family and friends and lets see how many people we can unite in the daily recitation of Sefer Tehillim.
moish01, You can say whatever you want about me. but calling others (either those in the coffee room of the greater “generic others”) not nice names AND you know what I am talking about, will not be tolerated.
