YW Moderator-42Moderator
Too busy modding all the thousands of posts coming in at 3am
YW Moderator-42ModeratorDo chocolate frogs come in parve?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorDon’t worry Shticky, it sounds like the new location is pretty much sold out too. I’m sure there are those who want to pay extra to daven maariv with 20,000 more people. B’rov am hadras melech.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorDid she win?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorThe Cardinal wasn’t tweeting properly so they gave him a cat scan.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorWow, Wolf, you are seriously doomed:
You sent a text message…
To a member of the opposite gender…
About chalav stam milk!
YW Moderator-42ModeratorIf you have nothing nice to say, post it in the CR.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorMukluk!
YW Moderator-42ModeratorGo troll for fish.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorHow else will you get a picture?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorMy apple barks at me
YW Moderator-42ModeratorBlubber, blubber. Macadamia!
YW Moderator-42ModeratorYes, I wrote it that way to avoid crawlers finding the address.
I was wondering why nobody tried emailing me. I wrote the email address wrong. Like I said, I rarely check it. It’s moderator42 at theyeshivaworld.com
YW Moderator-42ModeratorThere is a hotline – 732-551-3351. Press 6 and then 1.
For the record, I just did a Google search and found other sites that mentioned the new venue. It’s not on VIN or any of the other “major” Jewish news sites but it’s on smaller sites and blogs.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorTake luck.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorThe main YWN site seems to be ignoring asifa news as far as I can tell.
There still isn’t enough room for women, they expect to fill all 66,000 seats with men. If this had been planned better they could have gotten Met Life Stadium like the siyum hashas. And they could have filled 80,000+ seats with men and had women in one of the adjacent stadiums.
147, Will you stop your Yom Yerushalayim comments already. This is taking place at night, Erev Rosh Chodesh where we will say Tiflas haShla. Everyone is free to celebrate Yom Yerushalayim all day until mincha at 6:30 at Citi Field / Arthur Ashe. Whether there will be tachanun at that mincha is another question…
YW Moderator-42ModeratorAnybody care to take a guess, I thought it was pretty pashut?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorIf I had seen a photo first I wouldn’t have ever gone out with the 1st girl in the first place, what would have happened is I would have just gone out with the 2nd girl and then accidently sent the text to the 1st.
OneOfMany, was that you who sent me that text today?
YW Moderator-42Moderatormoski and byg93, I just figured out what you’re talking about. Awesome video (but still assur of course because it’s on shmutztube)
YW Moderator-42ModeratorI once tried to propose to a girl I was dating with a text message but accidentally sent it to the wrong girl, I’m now happily married to the wrong girl
YW Moderator-42ModeratorThat’s ok, she’s not really interested anyway:
YW Moderator-42ModeratorMy Apple is frozen, it hasn’t gotten out of the freezer yet.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorLogician, yes I am, but I am also a Snort.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorYW Moderator-42ModeratorHermione Granger
YW Moderator-42ModeratorYW Moderator-42ModeratorI think HP felt more “real” to people because it took place in our world and incorporated known legends into the world we know. So the readers can relate to the characters. Though at the end of the day, I don’t think anybody can purposely reproduce such a phenomena by studying what caused it. It was mostly mazel.
I liked the Inheritance series because the magic all worked very scientifically and was explained well in a good story. I know many people think the characters are very stereotypical etc but I thought it was very well written and entertaining.
Speaking of which, what happened to Toi?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorIn honor of this week’s Hallmark Holiday…
You’re not my Patronus, you’re a Snort!
See I do read other books besides HP ^_^
YW Moderator-42ModeratorHmmm. Looks like OneOfMany and Yamoos agree with each other here. I hereby declare OneOfMany a Troll Sympathizer ^_^
YW Moderator-42ModeratorShhhh. ZeesKite, don’t give away the president’s secret email address.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorCucumber?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorWhat’s sleep? Is that like what people do on Shabbos afternoon?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorYonason comes from Yehonasan which probably means Hashem gave.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorThe contact us link goes to the editor, he is very busy so might not get back to you for a long time (if ever)
ywmoderator42 at theyeshivaworld.com
I rarely check it anymore but feel free to try 🙂

YW Moderator-42ModeratorThe Coffee room runs on Silver Dollars
YW Moderator-42ModeratorSyag, I think Popa would make a wonderful shidduch for your daughter. Then again, I’m crazy…
YW Moderator-42ModeratorI also agree with Health here. The condition exists but is often over-diagnosed and/or mistreated.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorTrolls are posters too and therefore have equal rights to have their posts deleted.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorNewt…
Scamander. ^_^
YW Moderator-42ModeratorGoq is correct, if your father-in-law can’t afford to support you for the first 12 years of marriage you have no business getting married.
All joking aside, there is a mitzvah of being misameach chosson v’kalla which is fulfilled through your presence at the wedding. It is an extra hidur to be misameach them with your presents as well. (Ok, maybe not ALL joking aside).
May 15, 2012 6:59 am at 6:59 am in reply to: Where is adorable? And gumball? Were they real posters? Or mod characters… #874031YW Moderator-42ModeratorThey were real, non-mod posters as far as I know. (I think somebody once accused GumBall of being Joseph, but who hasn’t been accused of being Joseph?)
YW Moderator-42ModeratorWhen I mentioned standing in front of a king I was mostly referring to davening. I see Yeshiva guys daven mincha with their hat tilted up and jacket over shoulders and shirt untucked. One should put their hat and jacket on nicely for davening. I think it is more respectful to be wearing a neat, blue shirt tucked into a clean pair of khakis with a kippa sruga then to have a white shirt sticking out, jacket over shoulders and hat tilted back.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorNothing too deep. I’m just comparing the way the Dursleys treated Harry to the way Cinderella was treated by her stepmother.
In terms of the shoe fitting, is it the shoe that chooses the girl?
YW Moderator-42ModeratorCinderella, you are Harry before his 11th birthday.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorDid you just accuse me of having a life? I’m offended!
For the record, I didn’t have the book open when I wrote that (I did have Google open though)
YW Moderator-42ModeratorSyag’s story reminds me that One Yom Kippur I felt sick toward the end of the day and then someone passed around bisamim to make a bracho on and that made me feel a little better so I kept smelling it all through Neilla every time I felt like I was “about to throw up”
YW Moderator-42ModeratorI had actually originally changed it to “Moldy Old Voldy” as you suggested but then I saw that story on YWN main page about the guy who they called Voldemort so I used his name instead.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorWelcome to the wonderful world of 24/6 CR access.
YW Moderator-42ModeratorAt your service ‘Dora ^_^
